Utrecht coffeeshop

Post by weedRom »

Hi I'm Matthew,
Do you know if the coffeeshops are open to tourists?

Thank you

Yes, they are. Try Andersom, T'grasje and Culture Boat. Stay away from vipshop, it's in the middle of some arab neighbourhood, when i tried to find it just out of curiousity i ran into some allah snackbar festival and everybody was looking at me like i'm their next target:D

vipshop is great, it's Dutch owned and the arab's dont bother you if you dont bother them. It's actually on a really quiet residential street. Some of the best hash in Utrecht there.

Andersom however is rip-off and attitude heaven, avoid avoid avoid.

I found a video about the history of Coffeeshop Sarasani (RIP) and Holly Hasenbos. Very entertaining video from this dude:

I can recommend the other videos of him as well:

Only a few videos are related to cannabis but I like them :D

Sarasani was fantastic. Nothing else comes close. Far better than the tourist traps in Amsterdam.

Spent a lot of time there in the 00's. My mum and her siblings remember it from late 60's / early 70's.
