Sound garden without a shadow of a doubt is the best weed friendly bar iv'e been to in Amsterdam. The outside area looking on to the river is beautiful.

Is Ricks still open?, as that is next to Susies if it is and did do happy hours on the beers to. But unure if you could smoke inside in Ricks bar or if it had to be outside on there seating?.

Rick's recently reopened following repairs after the canal flooding into the basement damaged the foundations.

It is "cleaned up" in the bar area and back room now-no train seats any more-which has lost some of the character but upstairs is more or less the same and unbelieveably they did not refurb the toilets.

Alas Excalibur, like Stones Cafe, both of which said to me "Smoke cigarettes, joints, whatever the fuck you want!" shortly after the smoking ban, have been forced to surrender after increasingly unmanageable fines.

Lost In Amsterdam Down Stairs is Kool, Bar tenders don't bother u and let u just chill and relax. Milkshakes are amazing bit exspensive but worth it.
Great range of drinks surrounded by allot of coffeeshops to get supplies from.
