Riddle me this....
Winner gets to set the next riddle. Guesses are welcome.
How many regulation golf balls would you have to loosely hang from a fully inflated match ready football in order to make it sink in fresh water?
At what depth will the football implode due to pressure differential?

How much did you produce?

Real football. If I was to refer to the inferior and poorly named US sport to which you refer I'd say American Football or Pansies Rugby perhaps.Apollo wrote:Which type of football? Real or American?treetop wrote:Winner gets to set the next riddle. Guesses are welcome.

I'd google it but I cant be arsed, come on then how many treetop? I'll expect an answer by the time I'm back from the supermarket. (there are downsides to retirement)
What a long strange trip it is.

I promise if you give the right answer I'll give it up.
ps - here is a hint. Focus on the nature of the game. This is a riddle.
How much did you produce?

Here is my guess: 18
Also, this isn't a riddle IMO. Seems like a scientific experiment. At least asking at what depth would the inflated ball implode...

Back from the supermarket yet? lol. As a S.W.A.G. I would say it is impossible since the density of a golf ball is not high enough and it will actually float in salt water. So even in fresh water, "loosely" hanging enough might be a stretch to accomplish. Since this was a February post, I would imagine all the guesses are in, but I am still curious as to the answer.

127 golf balls and 34ft of water
