I'm very sad to hear that. Spider was a true legend. We became friends a few years ago and spent a lot of time together, mostly visiting art galleries and going on smoke ups before I left the UK. Glad to have seen him last week when I was passing through London. Going to miss him, take care buddy, whatever you're vaping on right now.

Very sorry to hear this. I met Spidey two years ago in the Dam, and he was a lovely man with a knowledge and appreciation of an Amsterdam unknown to many of us. My condolences to his family and friends.

I am lost for words completely, we never got the chance to meet but I know a few who regarded him highly.

Sad news indeed, my heart dropped at the title of Max's thread.
I feel very lucky to have met, conversed and shared a passion with such a gentle man - both in person and here on the ACD. He'll be sorely missed. Very best wishes to Miss Muffet - and thanks again for the pleasure of both your company back in April. And thankyou Max for sharing the news. I know you guys were close so I hope you, FT and the lads are all doing as well as can be expected.

So glad he made it to Amsterdam for one last time in April. Thanks to Miss Muffet for making that possible.

Condolences to Miss Muffet and the rest of his family. Obviously they'll miss him even more than we will.

I can't believe that this is my first post on here. Dad registered me as the 1000th member back when we last went to Amsterdam and I always meant to come on and say hi to all those I got to meet.

Thank you all for your kind words. Legend......that's what we all think as well. He was more than just my dad. He was my rock and my inspiration. He picked me up when I fell and always made me feel safe. It's been a hard few months and will be for a while after but we are all glad that he had some bloody amazing mates from ACD. Really privileged to have met and smoked some good stuff some of you lovely people.

Amazing how close you be come to people you converse with couple times a week ,know matter the distance of your homes
I have had the privilege of personal messages over the last year or so ,over a variety of topics.
Always looking on the bright side of life and turning the other cheek
I think he has made me a better man on certain views and options I sometimes may have had .
He was a big 420 fanboy He encouraged me on Smokeboat and was a big proponent of inclusion of all members getting into it.
