I just bought a new 65-inch TV online. It's supposed to be delivered tomorrow. For the past couple days I've been tossing and turning about whether to wall-mount it or just use a TV stand. Is one option inherently better than the other? Anybody have an opinion on this?
I saw the recent thread on buying a stand for a 65-inch TV. It was helpful but some of the options mentioned don't really work for me. For example, the shipping cost for the TV stand from Ikea is prohibitively expensive.
Wall mount the TV, or use a TV stand?

Wall mount, but for the love of god not over a fireplace. I can’t stand looking up, not a natural way to sit and relax
