Still, half a pure j of weed in minutes was never going to end well for a first timer, blind or not! Hope he was ok and laughed about it later.
It didn't look too fun! I mean, this blind guy wasn't a very good one (in the nicest way possible). He was bumping into things, knocking things over etc. He said he made it to Paradox as it was highly recommended by someone and he followed his phone maps there. I'm absolutely amazed he didn't fall into the canal or get run over by any bikes!
Anyway I had to leave I couldn't possibly be there whilst a blind man has a whitey! He was a really nice guy and I can't stress how helpful the Budtender was! Paradox has always been one of my favourites.
I bought some manali Jungle tonight as a first smoke: disapointing, bud tender told me it's hand rubbed charas with a mellow high (not strong) and a nice taste.
Well it does not look like charas , it's pliable but no smell, I was looking for something spicy with oriental smell but that did not match the point at all. I suggest to avoid Manali Jungle from Paradox (at least that batch), no interest (no taste, no smell).
Nice spot with locals, bud tender very friendly by the way, I'm just not very happy with that hasj...
Tried the Cheese and White Widow from here this week. Really liked the WW, good strong evening stone. And the space cakes are still enjoyable. Not sure what's up, but they seem stronger right now compared to last summer where they didn't really do much for me.

Yes, these are still the best space cakes I've had in Amsterdam. I bought some in Baba and Hill Street Blues last year and they weren't half as strong.
zu dem Shop “Paradox” kann ich persönlich folgendes sagen/-beurteilen:
– ich habe erstmal geschaut nach einer Parkmöglichkeit, gegenüber ist ein Parkplatz aber glaube Gebührenpflichtig mit einer Schranke wenn ich mich recht erinnere
– ich bin 1-2 Straßen weiter gefahren dort fand ich dann einen Stellplatz
– zu Fuß ein Stück bin ich dann zu dem Haus von Paradox gelaufen, eingetreten und auf den ersten Blick war dies schon eine sehr nette Location
– wenn man es Betritt, kommt man in einen kleinen Vorraum wo Schilder zu sehen sind mit einer Samenauswahl/-Angebot
– ein Beispiel White Thunder Seed`s 3 Stück zum Preis von 9€ waren dies meines Wissens nach(weitere Samen/-Sorten/-Strains waren auch Angeboten)
– dann kommt man an die Theke beziehungsweise in einen weiteren Vor/-Verkaufsraum, wo schon ein netter Junger Mann
stand und einen fröhlich empfangen hat
– auf der rechten Seite befand sich ein Local beziehungsweise Chillraum den ich leider aus Zeitlichen Gründen nicht wahrnehmen konnte(auf den ersten Blick sah aber alles sehr geordnet/-sauber aus) gerne hätte ich dort mal ein paar Stunden/-Tage verbracht um mir dies genauer anzuschauen(wie sagt man aber der erste Eindruck ist immer der beste) ;D
– desweiteren hinter mir war eine Treppe zum 2. Stock, leider kann ich dazu nichts sagen ob sich dort weitere Sitzmöglichkeiten
Chillmöglichkeiten befinden/-befanden
– aus dem Gedächtnis herraus würde ich sagen es waren ca. 5-7 Marihuana Sorten/-Strains im Angebot sowie Haschisch
– es wurde einem natürlich auch Tipps und Papers kostenlos beigegeben
– für mich persönlich ist/-war es lohnenswerter lieber 30Km – 40 Km mehr in Kauf zu nehmen(kommend von Venlo und/-oder Roearmond)
– zu dem Geschmack/-Reinheit des Marihuanas kann ich nur Note 1+ geben für das was ich versuchen/-ausprobieren/-kaufen durfte
– zu den White Thunder Seeds kann ich auch nur sagen bis Dato, sind daraus sehr nette Ladys zum Vorschein gekommen
Echt empfehlenswert, leider konnte ich wie bereits erwähnt nicht in den Genuss kommen mich in der Chillout Area hinzusetzen und ein Kaffee zu trinken, bei Gelegenheit beziehungsweise wenn man mal wieder Geld hat würde ich dies sehr sehr gerne in Anspruch nehmen.
Vielleicht hat ja jemand weiteres gleich noch Unterkunftsmöglichkeiten in/-aus Weert zu empfehlen

naar de Winkel 'Paradox' Ik kan persoonlijk zeggen dat dit / rechter:
- Ik heb eerst gekeken naar een parkeerplaats, aan de overkant van de straat is een parkeerplaats bijgeloof Betalen met een barrière als ik me goed herinner
- Ik ben daar beneden 1-2 blokken verderop vond ik een parkeerplaats
- Loop een stuk dat ik ging toen naar het huis van paradox heeft plaatsgevonden en op het eerste gezicht was het een zeer mooie locatie
- Als u binnen stap, krijg je in een kleine voorkamer waar de borden kan gezien worden met een zaadje selectie / aanbod zijn
- Een voorbeeld van White Thunder Seed`s 3 stuks voor de prijs van 9 € waren dit aan mijn kennis (meer zaden / variëteiten / -Strains waren ook speciale aanbiedingen)
- Dan krijg je aan de bar of in de voorkant van een ander / -Verkaufsraum, waar al een aardige jonge man
staan en een vrolijke ontvangen heeft
- Aan de rechterkant was er een lokale of chill kamer kon ik helaas niet zien wegens tijdgebrek (op het eerste gezicht, maar alles zag er zeer ordelijk / -Reinig out) zoals ik er keer enkele uren / dagen mij dit had doorgebracht loep (zoals ze zeggen, maar de eerste indruk is altijd de beste); D
- Verdere achter mij was een trap naar de 2e verdieping, helaas kan ik geen commentaar geven op de vraag of er extra zitplaatsen
Chill opties zijn / -befanden
- Herraus uit het geheugen zou ik zeggen dat er waren ongeveer 5-7 marihuana variëteiten / -Strains bieden en hasj
- Het was natuurlijk een teleurstelling Papers gratis toegevoegd
- Voor mij persoonlijk / -Was het de moeite waard nogal 30Km - het nemen van 40 Km meer in de aankoop (vanuit Venlo en / -of Roearmond)
- Om de smaak / zuiverheid van marihuana kan ik alleen maar waardering 1+ geven voor wat ik in staat was om te proberen / -ausprobieren / -Koop
- Om de White Thunder Seeds Ik kan alleen vertellen zo ver, van zeer mooie dames zijn gekomen op de voorgrond
Echt een aanrader, helaas kon ik niet, zoals reeds vermeld voordeel om te gaan zitten in de chill-out ruimte en een koffie te drinken, bij gelegenheid of wanneer men weer geld zou ik zo heel erg veel baten.
Misschien heeft iemand nog een gelijke of onderdak opties aanbevolen / -van Weert

to the Shop "Paradox" I can personally judge to say the following:
- I first looked for a parking, across the street is a parking superstition Paying with a barrier if I remember correctly
- I'm 1-2 blocks away down there I found a parking space
- Walk a piece I then went to the home of paradox occurred and at first glance it was a very nice location
- When you step inside, you get into a small anteroom where signs can be seen with a seed selection / supply are
- An example of White Thunder Seed`s 3 pieces for the price of 9 € were this to my knowledge (more seeds / varieties / -Strains were also special offers)
- Then you get to the bar or in front of another / -Verkaufsraum where already a nice young man
stand and a cheerful received has
- On the right there was a Local or chill room I could not perceive unfortunately due to time constraints (at first glance but everything looked very orderly / -Clean out) like I had spent there times a few hours / days this to me closer look (as they say but the first impression is always the best); D
- Further behind me was a staircase to the 2nd floor, unfortunately I can not comment on whether there additional seating
Chill options are / -befanden

- It was of course a disappointment Papers added free

Really recommended, unfortunately I could not, as already mentioned benefit to sit down in the chill-out area and to drink a coffee, on occasion or when one has money again I would so very very much avail.

Google Translate, or whatever, seems to be very demanding. The disappointment only appears in Dutch and English; the first version just says that filters and papers were free.
Tryed the pound cake and found it weak. Hardly got off but I had a high tolerance already. Possibly, a person with lower tolerance could find it an acceptable choice.

... Similar experience last month , was eating 2 a day and didn't feel they were improving the situation significantly. Just was not Sure about them at all !
Went to the Paradox a couple of times last week. Both times were busy but the atmosphere was relaxed and chilled out. I was pleased to see that the budtender checked every id of a group of young looking teenagers. I also witnessed the boss giving very sound advice to a novice who was a little bit older, but didn't want to overdo it the first time.
I love the fact it sells 5 euro bags which allows you to try everything out before committing by the gram or larger. I wish more coffeeshops would do this.
While I was in there I scored Amnesia, Lemon Haze and Super silver Haze. Allw were nicely dried and cured and I was happy with all of them. Tried the spacecake but wasn't overwhelmed by it. It might be okay for a novice but not for a regular toker.
I also noticed on the last day of my visit that they were now offering the Finger Hash again. The last time I visited that was the best hash I could find in Amsterdam, so would have loved to try it, but knew that I simply didn't have enough time left to smoke it.
Paradox is definitely the best coffeeshop for chilling. Friendly stuff, nice mix of locals and tourists alike. The weed selection is not amazing, nor bad. Also the prices are neither great, nor bad. As I said the main draw here is the nice ambience, friendly staff, good wifi, reasonably priced drinks and excessive amount of volcano vaporizers available on the property (I think there is like six in that tiny ass CS). So if you're looking for a nice place to actually spend some sitting time, and in the historic center, look no further...
Those in de Pijp looking for something similar should also consider De Graal and Katsu, which are also both excellent chilling coffeeshops... I'll review those as well, eventually...maybe
