But they sold it for 15€/g if I remember right... and at this time it was pretty rare to see genetics like Wedding Cake in Amsterdam so they decide to sell it in a tin as a special. For 15€/g I don´t have a problem with that. Well I heard it wasn´t so super but it was a really new strain that was usually in coffeeshops only available as "Cali import" for much more money at this time. I like that they try to sell that new genetics for good prices but I could imagine that at the beginning it takes a bit of time to get the genetics stable...

That it´s now 16€ are no good news but compared with other coffeeshops it´s ok... and that is really their top of their menu even if they have "Cali Weed" on the menu they sell it for 16€/g (or formerly 15€/g) and not more...

I forgive you Marok, even if you do smoke dirty bum hash  jokes of course you're a valuable poster with a good eye on wares in NL. Don't take offense to my weird humour

I get why people are up in arms over a price increase even if only a single euro, but feel many people have been holding the shop in high esteem from yesteryears when in reality they have been wandering off the path for some time. My previous better buys here have always been the cheaper end of the menu, the upper end never delivers or heaven forbid has spongy uncured offerings.I just feel it's all hype with them these days unfortunately.

Thing is even the supposed cali they were selling at 15 euro was Dutch grown and wasn't up to much they had grapefruitz apparently from terps dawgs farm in cali 🤣 for 15 if they expect me to believe that's where it came from they must think people are daft. The gelato just said cali grown which is definitely not true just more evidence of standards in the dam slipping down.

I don't I think it may well be Cali, because they had other "Cali" strains in recent history, that were not advertised as such. Not all Cali is top-grade, plenty of shit around too - of course the best Cali is what gives the state it's reputation for churning out top-quality cannabis.

I mean it's possible to get Cali for that cheap, I get good Cali (i.e. as good or better rather, than what's at Plug) for even less than that, granted it's outside the shops but still, proof that it's a least "possible".

Their pillar strains (for me Lemon Bubble, Fromage Blue and Amnesia) are still consistently good imo and very reasonably priced (at 13, 11 and 9 Euros atm, after the price increase; although I notice they were always switching the LB between 10 and 12 Euros back in the day, so this should be the higher end of the price range).

Usually I go for them and not the higher priced stuff but this time I went for GG4 and Blue Cookie (15 and 16 Euros) and have to say they were good (8 and 7,5 for me) but not great. To think I get almost 2 grams of Amnesia for a gram of BC I would go for that again next time.

So I think I can agree with the quoted poster's sentiment only as far as the higher price range is concerned.

Why? What were your experiences in detail?
Honey Badger don't give a shit....

What's hard to understand here though, they prided themselves in capping their weed menu out at 15 EUR per gram for years, they now have gone back on that and upped the top of the menu price(s) to 16 EUR per gram, quite straightforward "why" really...
Exactly this

It is possible but from terp dawgs farm which is supposedly the top end of cali outdoor is a big claim which is more than likely  talk I don't believe it. I get better stuff for less in the UK I love the dam but prices are making me look at other Dutch towns for my next trip.

Went there in early april and got some Frommage Bleu and Sour Diesel.

Sour Diesel (12 or 13€) had an incredible smell and taste. I don't have any prior experience with this strain so I can't tell if it was "all natural", but it very much reminded me of haribo sour gums which is something that I've never tasted in weed before. Crazy stuff.
Smoke felt clean and the effects were nice; can't really give any qualitative comment about that because it was our first smoke in the Dam and therefore knocked us out of our socks either way. Was very high for sure.
Went back the next day with my mate to get some more because he liked it that much and had a sit-in there with a decent coffee because the smoking room was empty.

Frommage Bleu (12 or 13€) was a bit overshadowed by the strong aroma of the Sour, but I liked its effects more. Pleasant stone, nice smoke. Enjoyed it very much in the morning.

Only thing that I could complain about would be the price, but I can understand it, seeing where they are located.

So is it right that I got the impression that voyagers isnt as goog as it was in past? Because they lead the list of the most popular coffeeshops here at ACD still... (sry for my english..)

they are going well, just not as consistent as they were in the past, sometimes you will get the same strain and it will be a lot weaker than the previous week. also they are increasing prices for the first time in a long time, so perhaps a year from now it will be even worse. but given the location and variety of selection that comes through it's still worth checking out

So after giving Voyagers a recent bashing I thought it only right to make a few purchases (I stuck to the lower end to be safe and not liking the popcorn I saw)

Sour Diesel €10? - pretty poor, non descript sour tasting without any real diesel profile at all. Binned 0.5g, absolute dirt!

Fromage Blue €13? - This is probably the best I've seen of this here in the last year or so. Plenty of stink and not as dry as every other bud I saw this trip, good flavour and effect but could still be much better all round.
(Small glass jar was also offered or pop top for multiple gram purchases)

I really hope they read these comments and think seriously about the direction they are going. They could easily save it but If they keep going the way they are they will soon fade into obscurity.

I was here for the first time and took notorious OG, 24K and fromage blue ... only the fromage was acceptable, for the two most expensive only mini nugs. This is not the way to do with a new customer and a senior one.
