To tell the truth, that's the first time I heard of this shop - Just had a look at the main site comments and it sounds like it could be good value for weed but just a little out of town (northways).

Worth a visit do you think?

you need to take a ferry from centraal station, then walk

first get to centraal station and walk all the way through

once through the far doors, cross the road at the pedestrian crossing

turn left (ie to the west) and walk along to the ferry docks

take the free Buiksloterweg ferry, it takes 5 minutes to get to north amsterdam, here is the gvb ferry map

walk to the coffeeshop using the google map from the het filiaal page

it is just under a mile (1.5 kilometer) from the ferry dock on the north amsterdam side to the coffeeshop, maybe 15-20 minutes walk

and is a really great free ride. I have spent many an hour, stoned, cruising from one side of the river to the other!

yes, bikes are fine on the ferry

here is the link to the gvb ferry map

if you have a bike, there is a nice cycle path that follows the west side of the north holland canal and gets you out of the city and into the countryside

for another time the free ferry to NDSM takes about 15 minutes and is a lovely little stoned outing, you see amsterdam from a completely different perspective, also there is boat traffic to watch
