As others have said on another part of this site, the shop is a bit shabby but they do a brisk business. I ordered a space cake and ate it along with some drink. I stayed no more than 10 minutes and at least 5 people bought and left during this time. This is what the shop seems to specialise in: pick up and go. The way they sell bags is unique: the customer looks at the menu and talks or gets a recommendation from the tender and then says what bud they want. The bud tender throws down 5 bags on the counter and the customer has their pick of the litter, so to speak.

The space cake was mild like most in the Netherlands. The kind I make are downright trippy as I use Haze hybrid buds (I quit smoking and only do edibles at home. I tore up my lungs in Amsterdam this last trip and will hopefully never smoke again).

After leaving this shop I tried to find Oasis CS and asked directions at a hostel that was in the neighborhood towards Oasis. The guy was real friendly and said it was his favorite shop. The only thing was it was quite a walk from where I was and they closed early. If I hurried I could have made it for a few minutes but then the walk back to the center seemed like a waste to do all that walking, smoke a joint, and then walk back. I passed as I had already walked plenty and was wanting a rest. So onward and upward to other shops closer to center for me. Visited Groningen during great weather in April.

Last week:

Feels like one of those modern lounges playing electronic music and I could imagine I would go to 'after hour parties' there when I'd be much into electronic music if they would host some . Quite a sterile atmosphere here and rundown but they had a christmas tree .
Guy advised me on some Pollen(moroccan) for about 7-8€/g which was nice enough. Rest of the menu consisted of the usual suspects. Two types of bags with no prices per gram stated which I noticed on other menus in town.Seedy! Don't get me wrong I asked for prices and was told weights . Not my idea of business but seems spirit of age with all those youngsters just not buying per gram but euro.

February 2016,

Arrived in Groningen and after a quick Breakfast at McD me and my gf went straight to Upper 10. Checked their List and saw Jack Herer , Haze and Snowwhite. Went for the JH which got us a really uplifting high- perfect for the morning. We rolled a few Joints in their neon-lighty little smokeroom, which in my opinion could need some more tables to roll one, and planned the rest of the day.

May 2016,

So i was back in Groningen for few hours with my girl and my bong at 10'00. Bought some Jack Herer and Super Skunk, asked if we can smoke inside ( which we did 2 months ago o.o ) and the budtender told me "No its only pick-up here". Well. Sounds weird for us... Buds were good btw..
