Do you believe in Aliens ?

Post by Iko »

Been alot of "sightings" in North America this fall.

I am starting to believe that there actually may be something to this 2012 stuff.
Many are of the opinion that some great change is on the horizon and that possibly the aliens are here for the show, or somehow conected to it all.
Even the United Nations apointed a embassador for first contact last month

Any thoughts on the subject ?

Do I believe there are other life forms on a planet somewhere in the galaxy? yes

Do I believe there are intelligent life forms elsewhere? no.

Boner, i respect your views, but if you believe in life, why would you think it would not evolve ?
We are so damn relatively young, as a planet as a solar systom and as a species compared to the universe.
Why wouldnt life that is 10000x older than us evolve to become inteligent?

You've sort of answered your own question, yes we're very young as far as the Universe is concerned and we haven't found any evidence of intelligent lifeforms anywhere else and if there was surely they would of evolved enough too travel here and make themselves known?

No disrespect to anyone....BUT, I find it fairly improbable that we are the only planet in this vast universe that has produced life and to believe that said life has not progressed to an intelligence level equal to or beyond ours is just plain arrogance..as a race that is, no personal insult implied or intended..... 8)

A religious sidebar....If God is the creator of the Universe, should one expect to meet aliens in heaven/hell?
If I don't see you no more in this world, I'll meet you on the next one.

I believe in intelligent alien life in the universe but I do not believe they are here watching us like something from the x-files, the power needed and the distances involved are just to great to get to a nearby star, maybe in a few hundred years time it will be all Star Trek n stuff. If you think about it is really arrogant to think as us as the only life in the universe, in our galaxy alone we are one solar system among 200-400BILLION and our galaxy is just one of an estimated 125 billion galaxies so I just cannot get my head round people thinking we are the only planet in all that with life. Haha trad just read your post, I basically said what you sad lol.

Love those images Pauli, blows my mind that it is actually more akin to looking through a time machines window.
