Man tries to buy Dennys meal with bag of weed; Dennys declines

Denny’s is certainly no place of class—no offense Denny’s—so it’s surprising that a place who serves everything under a gallon of gravy, ice cream, or syrup, wouldn’t be interested in accepting weed as legal tender.

This was the case when a pothead from Niagara Falls, NY, tried to pay for his food with $1 and a bag of marijuana at around 2 a.m. on Saturday. Which, again, no offense Denny’s, but when you’re serving a $2 plate of “Pancake Puppies” at two in the morning, some weed appearing in your restaurant should be completely expected, if not welcomed.

Naturally, when the man was denied this transaction he tried to sell the weed to other people in the restaurant before having the police called on him and fleeing into the woods.

His meal was $9.91 and he was going to give away a bag of pot for it. Either this guy is generous or it was skunk weed, so I suppose it could be understandable that no one wanted to buy it.

Unfortunately for him, a restaurant patron recognized him (total narc) and identified him to police who are currently waiting at the man’s house for him to answer the door.

The only offense I see here is false advertising by Denny’s. Stoner food should totally be paid for with weed.

In any case, I've paid taxi rides with weed a few times. The cabbies who accepted it were quite happy to take my illegal tender.

I paid a lawyer once with a bag of weed. It worked out well, I needed a lawyer for a peace disturbance thingie ( I hated my neighbors so I decided to play pink floyd at the top volume at 3 am), and my lawyer was out of weed. I call it a win win situation. lol
