In my lifetime, notable people who've had a profound impact on my life are Mother Teresa, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., President John F. Kennedy, Ernesto "Che" Guevara, Malcom X, Fidel Castro, and President Nelson Mandela (RIP).
My heart is heavy this day, grieving not only for the man, but his lifetime of struggle for freedom and equality.
