Trying to do some routine maintenance and change the tap (faucet?) washers , turned off the stopcock under the sink , it's turned my water off in the Kitchen but not bathroom !!!!?? Wtf ?

I'm thinkin either outside stopcock , or need to run water for a while to drain tank ? (Live in a flat)

My last two houses have both had there own stopcock in the bathroom buddy, both times was a bugger to find as hidden behind panelling though , i hope its not a fully tiled room if its the same for you, mine were between the bog and the sink both times

Mmmm I did!! I'll tell you in other way !! The valve you closed aint the main water line connected to the main pipe to your water tank..., you not in America I'm guessing? Good chance like other said it hiden if not visible... Good chance is connected to you tub in bathroom!
Best way to find out call a Plummer ;)

Your right I ain't in America and why would I phone a plumber when I can potentially do it myself ? Also the engineer I just had in my house told me it's the main stopcock as it's coming directly from outside , so I'm presuming now it is possibly a case of me being a bit more patient than running the water for 2mns lol (to empty tank)

Now you know why we charge by the hour. it's not rocket science, but simple rocket science is, point at the top thrust at the bottom, landing is were the real science comes in. again good luck just remember the 4 P's Patience, perseverance, pride, and parts :D

Simple! Take a chance and start destroying the wall around your bathtub good chance to valve is behind that wall.. If pluming is anything like ancient Americans (pre 60's 70's) < also walls were different at the time so you find a wall of cement 1-2 inches since they didn't have jiprock back in the days if others built pre 30's good chance you'll find wood walls behind.
So start destroying your wall ;) just get a Plummer he got the tools to find pipes ;) be easier and less of a problem .

Good luck ;)
