I was pulled aside in the airport by the TSA. They actually started asking me questions about attending the cup. The female? agent asked "were did you go?" "did you visit any coffeeshops" "did you go to the cannibus cup?" It seemed like they thought they were the DEA or something.

Make sure that you DO NOT try to take any illegal substances back. DO NOT take any used smoking equipment back at all. They totally searched my bags and even read matierial that I wrote on.

I am an american citizen, not involved in any terrorist shit and they were busting my balls.

The funny thing is that like a month later they could not catch a guy with a mideastern type of name, was denied entry to london, who was reported by his own family to be a radical and bought his ticket the same day cash?

What a bunch of incompetant assholes. I mean the last thing you want to encounter on your way back from a vacation is a low paid government employee on a power trip.

I think the TSA needs to focus their attention on people who are actually trying to harm others instead of busting the balls of people who are going to amsterdam to blow off some steam.

I was really surprised to hear that this terrorist got through Schipol with a bomb in his drawers because I had to go through one of the full body scanners on my way home and figured they were vigilante like that more consistently to combat the smuggling.

Honestly, no matter how good a system is that's in place there will always be a way around it, sad to say.

Words can't describe how much I hate customs and TSA assholes. They think their so tuff when they search your bags. Oh looks like you found another 3.5 ounces of water, congratulations you just saved the universe. I've never heard of a terrorist being stopped by TSA, only about the ones who got through. The only thing their good at is making people have to wait in line for an extra hour before getting on their flight.

Wait untill you have been near dragged out of the baggage "Q" (in front of everyone) & then had the contents on 2 bags taken out bit by bit,I was not f`ing happy like,I am not a criminal either nor am i a terrorist! + i have nothing to hide.

I always get approached by security at airports because I look like a musician or something. But my experience at Schipol and at any airport is just people doing their job. I haven't experienced any weird power trip bullshit, but I've been searched a bunch of times. I wasn't doing anything wrong so nothing ever came of it. That said, I'm a white guy, so I'm sure I get far less trouble than african or middle eastern people.

What I really found offensive is swapping planes at LAX and having to be finger printed and have photos of me taken. That would be illegal in most countries, I'm sure. The US seems to have an interesting take on important personal freedoms and less important personal freedoms, something I'll never properly understand.

been searched at edinburgh airport too .im not stupid enough to try to bring anything back but was a humiliating experience being searched in front of all the other passangers who would natrually assume i did have stuff on me. the customs blokes even had a bit of a giggle at some dvd porn my mate had brought back with him (making sure everyone in sight saw it) .
to be honest if customs and security think im a smuggler or a threat to the plane then god help us all ! :

I also flew out yesterday and it took forever to get onto the plane. I don't care how long it takes if it makes it safer. But personally, after going through a scanner, patting us all down and a search of our carry ons I still didn't feel safe. I think it's a joke. If some guy got through with some stuff taped to his balls then it can happen again unless they come up with a better procedure. Fake passports are made and sold so the whole passport check is a joke. It didn't help matters yesterday that the whole plane was full of people from Africa or the middle east. Sorry, it's true. I was glad to land. It's also a joke to hear when they screw with a guy about weed, of all things.

After being seached by 2 black idiot customs agents
they told me why they seached me!! cause i was a white person whom was too polite to him them when i went up to ask one of them where to go for my connection!! and once in glass room i was told i was acting like a terrorist « i started freaking up when 10 agents surround me
