Jolly Joker

Jolly Joker ACD Page

Do you like the Joker ?

Nice balcony seats which overlook the Nieuwmarkt. Other than that wasn't very impressed.

Didn't like the way in which the staff would change the price of things depending on the nationality of a customer.

that is messed up!!
not that it matters, but i curious to know what "types" of people got charge the most and who got the best deal??

it might be a lil fuct up but i could almost understand giving the local a better price than obvious tourist....just a small discount for local no like 5E vs 10E a gram.

I am not sure about you guys, but Jolly Joker was one of the nicer coffeeshops in Amsterdam. It had a better atmosphere (jazz fusion music), nicer decor (wood everywhere) and a real anal-retentive dealer working the bar.

The weed was above average, but not top quality for Amsterdam.
The location on the corner of New Market is great. Particularly
when the weather is nice and the LARGE windows are opened and
air flows through.

The window seats are a great place to have coffee and roll a joint. Personally, my wife and I had a great time there; good smoke, good coffee, and music/ambiance was great. However, for tourists
who are NOT hip to smoking weed, expect nothing, as being novices
can be your own downfall. You should be wise to learn something about weed (the types and your reactions) before you go into any coffeeshop.

Jolly Joker is one of our favorite places, but our favorite is 222.
THat will be another review.
