Drugs Live: The Ecstacy Trial

This probably wasn't as scientific as it could have been, but it was still enjoyable and some good points were made by both sides (For legalisation vs Against). Most importantly, it sparked debate. 94% of people say that the UK drugs policy isn't working (you only really need to be conscious to realise that...)

Amazingly, I read a comment on the Telegraph's review of the programme (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvan ... eview.html) which said "The sooner drugs are legalised and accessible from reputable sources, the side effects from taking drugs I think, would not be as bad" was recommended by 19 PEOPLE. Moreover, 19 people subscribed to the Telegraph, whose readers are notoriously Tory.

Prohibition IS NOT WORKING. The British public know this, the scientists know this. But the fucking politicians think that expressing it will lose them those all-important votes. VOTE GREEN, the only party not afraid to stand up for personal, adult responsibility.
