Suggestions for SILENT Volcano bags?

Post by DaveS »

Hey there folks - just a quick one...

As I'm sure any of you who've used the Volcano will know, the balloon bags that come with the unit aren't the quietest in use, and although I've got better results with rolls of oven bags before now, I can't seem to find any really quiet ones these days?

A few years ago I had some that I found from a link on the Volcanotips website, I think it was, but I can't find them anymore (the bags, not the site)!

I have the Classic with EasyValve, which works great, but the OEM bags are quite noisy and I prefer the "roll" replacements as you can make them whatever length you want - the oven bags are a bit on the small size, I find...

Any clues, suggestions etc? I think the quiet ones I had came from abroad, but the roll was relatively cheap and the bag material didn't have that rather crinkly effect that the original bags had, making it a much more "stealthy" option!

Any help would be gratefully received...
Cheers!

They don't look too bad - soft material for quieter performance... it's just a shame that the shipping is another $26 on top of the $10 price!

But if I can find somewhere on this side of the pond who does that brand, it could be a winner!

Thanks for the reply Bifton... I know what to look for now...

Well... looks like the "Vapebags" aren't readily available to purchase in the UK... a few places advertise them in the States, but they either don't ship to the UK or the shipping is over twice the cost of the bags!

Looked on Amazon and Ebay and they only have the Storz & Bickel bags and rolls, as do the vape sites over here...

Back to the drawing board then...

Sweet!

Better deal than the previous one.. €12.90 inc postage...

I suspected that there would be somewhere in Europe had em...

Thanks again Bifton!

Gonna drop them an email tomorrow to double check the stock.. my French is a little rusty these days, but "Produit en réapprovisionnement" or "Product is in restocking" is either "Yes, it's in stock" or "We're waiting for stock"!
Sometimes the nuances are lost in translation!

I'll drop them a line to double check, anyway...

Cheers fella!

Tant pis! C'est dommage, mais ça ne fait rien!

Merci quand même, Bifton!
