Solo pandemic getaway, August 2021

I was sitting on a ton of miles, and United put up a great sale a few months back, fully refundable, so I took a chance and booked for the latest dates I could find the sale price, 8/16-8/24. I honestly didn't think it would happen, I have cancelled two other trips to the Dam already, one booked prior to the pandemic for April 2020, I rescheduled that trip for April 2021, which also had to be cancelled.

Now that Americans are allowed to travel to the Netherlands, as long as they don't extend the curfew hours or lock anything down, I'm gonna go. Wife can't get away, so I'm gonna spend 8 days smoking my way through the city.

It's been hard to find any real info about what it's actually like on the ground right now - which shops will let you inside to smoke? How crowded is it? Do the usual shops have outdoor seating?

Anyway, I have a balcony room, so even if places are buy and fly only I'll be fine.
