new rules for entry to netherlands

Post by bedge »

High all just noticed from 2 Feb 2022 the need to isolate for 10 days now has exemptions.
If you have proof of having all 3 shots, including the booster, at least 7 days before travel date.
you also need a quarantine declaration even if you don't need to self isolate!
see
https://www.government.nl/topics/corona ... quarantine
anyone know any other details please post
thanks

Flew with Easyjet from Edinburgh Thu 10/02/2022 and needed:

Exit:
Proof of Vaccination (NHS app)
Clear Covid test (used Creulean19 24-hour option, £20, 1 day delivery, 30 mins results)
Health Declaration for Netherlands gov't

Return:
Proof of Vaccination (NHS app)
Passenger Locator Form

In town, had to show proof of vaccination at some places. Sometimes they scanned it, sometimes they just looked, sometimes you needed a passport/ID to match to it. Pretty random.

Non Covid-wise, for UK travellers post-Brexit; I've heard talk of needing some other Schengen form - I didn't have to do this explicitly but it might have been one of the doc's Easyjet required me to complete.

when i went last October
to go i printed and filled out a:
health declaration form
quarantine declaration
vaccine declaration form.
and negative test results...

they only asked to see test result and quarantine form at the airport..
while i was there the uk covid pass didnt work,, i guess it does now..

seemed strange to ask tourist for covid pass...
as u need it to enter the country to begin with
