I'd like to set up a T & T for April 22nd 2024, at 12:00 at coffeeshop DNA & De Kade. Let's go south for a few hours and check out a couple of nice C.S.'s. Maybe on the way back, stop at Katsu, Media, and Superskunk (after reading reviews, maybe. )
Find a place to have a beer & smoke somewhere too. We'll figure out were to meet as the time gets closer.

@AzLaker - excursion to De Kade sounds good. I enjoyed our visit there last year.

@Ghost - Glad you enjoyed my comment about WhatsApp. I sometimes think I should put more smilies in my posts in case someone takes them too seriously.

I found our previous visit to Spirit. It was 2015 when Treetop organised a pinball competition there. The pinball wizards put on a great show while we all got stoned. Then, at the end of the session, they insisted that I have a go. The ball disappeared almost immediately and I was awarded a wooden spoon for my incompetence.

Day 4 - Sunday 19th April 2015

As you can see, I've already got my coat ready to leave.

Nice spoon Lemming, well deserved?? :D

Is anyone interested in going out to Lisse, to see the Keukenhof Gardens? I've been with the wife a couple of times,
very nice display of a wide variety of flowers, plants and more. It's probably a half day trip, including a stop in Leiden, or Haarlem to have a smoke.
Just a thought. :D

Hey Trad, sounds real good. I think it was a train ride Lieden, then a bus ride to the "Keukenhof Garden's" :D
Pretty sure we buy the whole package in Amsterdam.

@AzLaker we could always meet up on the 21st if you fancy coming to a couple of shops before the T 'n' T at the Spirit :?: we can sort that out whilst in town  I am also up for a visit down to DeKade and DnA 8) I really liked DeKade last year  a real nice spacious shop and we got a volcano we can use

I might be up for your excursion out to Lisse to see the gardens, I last went there in 97 can sort that when in town with you

@Lemming nice pic maybe you will be able to redeem yourself this year and win the mystery prize it's that much of a mystery at the moment that even I don't know what it is yet   :D

Another idea/trip out could be to Mandoram(rough spelling) a miniature village of the Netherlands, I went years back and was a good trip. If anybody's up for it we could set something up?

@Lemming, I know we didn't go in 2006 because I only stayed 3 full days that first year. Stayed at Rookies and pretty much facilitated between, T'Nes, Rookies, & 420 C.S. those 3 days.
If we head out to the Garden, I did check out the menu at Happy Days, it would be a nice place to relax afterwards.

@Ghost definitely hook up somewhere before we head out to Spirits. Like you said, we can sort it out once we're in town.
Don't think I've been to Mandoram, so that sounds like something to check out also.

Some good ideas on board while everyone is in town. Have we thought about doing the boat thingy again? Or are we burnt out on that. Just a thought.

I like the idea of hitting Happy Days if we venture to the garden, It would be a new menu for me :D

Yes www.Madurodam.nl is worth the visit, you have to get the train down to the Hague and then a tram roughly 1hr 10 mins

 The boat  I am up for going on a trip but I am not volunteering to sort it out   so am easy on what ever everyone else wants to do. Buddha Boat, Smoke Boat etc

@AzLaker, I have this bunch of pictures of Keukenhof and some Leiden coffeeshops dated 2006. In my faulty memory, we went there as two couples - J and me and, I thought, you and your wife. That memory must have been generated by my Volcano-induced artificial stupidity or reality is on the blink again. :D

Madurodam - I quite like model villages. Might be fun to check out the seaside at Scheveningen. The only non-takeaway coffeeshop there is Blue and White.

I mentioned flowers and model villages to Igraine but she looked a bit bemused!

I've uploaded a new version of the tram map of outlying coffeeshops. There are a few changes. For instance, tram 24 no longer starts at Centraal Station.

I'm totally at a loss. We'll have to have a few beers & smokes, to figure this one out. Bring those pics with you this 420, to see if our cloudy minds can remember what year it was.

Like the tram update. Definitely will help navigate around the city and beyond. :D

While I'm thinking about it Lemming, any invites from the local coffeeshop's this year for a ACD get together? Must hit up Het Ballonnetje as usual. Very good smoke & great people behind the counter.

@talkrum - Wow! Thanks for that.
Incidentally, I haven't fixed the merch shop, I just put an error trap in the code. That means, if it breaks, it should display an error message and then take you to the UK shop, regardless of where you are in the world.
Did you get an error message? If so, what did it say?
I see you used the customise option to design your own, which is cool. Glad to see that worked for you.

@AzLaker - I'm pretty sure those pictures are from 2006. It must've just been J and me. It's a bit disturbing that senility has rotted my brain so much that it makes up memories.

@Everyone - yes, countdown is going. I think we have a hotel room now too. I had a couple of instances of companies taking my credit card and then saying that the room I'd booked wasn't available. Hopefully this one has worked.

I'll definitely contact Het Ballonnetje to see whether they'd like to invite us for a special session. I could also ask The Stud. Anywhere else that you'd like me to try?

Seems like everyone liked Balou last year, how about a repeat this year?
