I have another bar option we could try after the Amsterdam Cafe which is Cafe Pollux this is up along the Prins Hendrikkade, I thought it might have been hit by the smoke ban around the Red Light but it hasn't been effected by the look of it, it has been a good few years since I was last there but it was smoker friendly when I was. I will poke my head in on the 17th after I have checked into my hotel and ask if it still is

The defending Pinball Champion 2024 is coming back into town to defend his title 2025 against all these wan-a-be's bidding for his title Will be good to see you again buddy, you can keep an eye on my Venty

As the reigning ACD Pinball Champion, I will be defending by crown in an attempt to become the ACD G.O.A.T. Pinball Legend. Poor old tigger was stripped of his ACD Shirt (by me) and abducted by my 5 year old Granddaughter - never to be seen again!
I have been in practice on my Logitec G29 driving force steering wheel just in case Ghost throws a sneaky curveball and makes us play F1 challenge instead of pinball. I wish I could remember what I was vaping in Spirit when I won . I do hope my pal DocGonzo shows up.
@ Ghost I will nursemaid all ACD Venty and Mighty Plus users and guard your precious vapes with my life - for a small herbaceous gratuity. Silver surfers are useful for somethings.
Have we got a 20th anniversary ACD Logo? Is anybody ordering any ACD merchandise?

Starting in Siberie sounds good and CoffeeshopAmsterdam Café is very convenient for a second stop. I remember we popped our heads in there late one night a year or two ago but finished up in Wonder Bar. I can't remember why but it might have been because CoffeeshopAmsterdam Café was full.

I'm quite keen to check out Cafe Havelaar at some point. Maybe we can move down there after CoffeeshopAmsterdam Café or instead of if we find it's too busy. If we have tram passes and can't be bothered to walk, we could catch a tram from Nieuwezijds Kolk to Spui.

We've talked about self-drive boats many times over the years but never actually done it. It would certainly make a change after so many trips on cruise boats. Buddha Boat was also very nice. Be even better if we could hire the whole boat.

I think the most important thing we can do is to organise some proper brilliant 420 weather like we've had so many times in the past. If everyone makes appropriate offerings to their gods, maybe we can summon up some wall-to-wall sunshine as is traditional.

Talking of boats, I'd quite like to go for a play on the free ferries again. Maybe across to NDSM for Funny People 2 and then to Plug Westerdok.

I'm always up for trying new places. Cafe Havelaar sounds good and only an 8 minute walk from my digs.

Maybe head out to Kashmir Lounge seeing as the smoking options are getting thinner on the ground. Is Soundgarden still around? Only a good weather option if it is.

If we get a self-drive boat it's really close to The Plug Westerdok so could potentially combine the two?

NDSM is also very impressive. The warehouse full of massive artworks is worth a visit.

I have been making many, many offerings to the sun god for 420. and will make many more.

Yes it was weed friendly the last time I visited the place and was run by a lovely lady very chatty. I have just done a quick scan over google and it comes up as still weed friendly along with

1. CoffeeshopAmsterdam Café: cocktails and gezelligheid
2. Hunter’s Bar: for a laid-back vibe
3. Café Hill Street Blues: for grungy canalside views
4. Lost in Amsterdam: the OG smokers’ bar
5. Barney’s Uptown: smoke it up in class
6. Cafe Pollux: where life is a party
7. La Grotte: funky interior for a great trip

Not sure its quite right as Street Blues is in the list every other bar on the list is smoker friendly
