Bonus trip

Post by DazG »

So, last night, the Mrs and I decided to book a 2 night stay. A wee bonus trip that we hadn’t really planned on until one of us mentioned the possibility just a couple of days ago 😆
Flights are booked for 8th - 10th September, now time to start properly planning 😁 definitely on the hit list for this visit will be Chapiteau - as well as the regular haunts Het Ballonetje and Terps army 2. Any recommendations welcome ……

The time has almost arrived, only 2 more sleeps til we are back - the last couple of weeks have flown in, hoping this weekend doesn’t drag in 😂😂

Still haven’t made any plans, I have a couple of places in mind to visit, as well as the favourite haunts

Will try to do a report with some photos 😎

Have a tip top time.

Chapiteau is deffo worth a visit and I was pretty impressed with the Cali(not cali) selection at Sensimilla near Hugo de Grootplein, maybe a 15 minute walk between the two shops.

In the centre Bagheera is usually very reliable.

Premium shops - I've been impressed on the whole by Drew's/Mediterranne and Green Place is back in the good books

Enjoy xx

Chapiteau is definitely being visited, I also saw sensemilla being recommended on a YouTube video for must visit coffeeshops. Bagheera for the lemon bubble is usually on the list

Drew’s place has been on my mind, so will aim to visit there too

appreciate the suggestions HTN 😎

Cheers bud, I’ll certainly try 😂

The excitement is building, it’s not helped that my brother arrived in Amsterdam yesterday and is sending me 20 minute updates 😂😂

Never got round to doing a write up and tbh, most of the memories have went up in smoke 😂😂

Things I do remember : got through airport security in world record time - win 👌🏻, made plenty of visits to solo and het ballonetje (as always) 😊 visited Drew’s place, ventured out to sensemilla, tried 7th heaven and returned to 1e hulp after a short hiatus - never had a bad experience. Also visited new times 2 (formerly kooi). Our hotel was in a good location too, near Rembrandt square.

Anyway, we’ve just booked the next trip, 5th-8th of march, will post again soon
