welcome to the forum

i would suggest having a look in FlyByNite's Who's In Town page

i would also suggest you have a look in the Travelogues (After or During) section of the acd forum to find out what's good at the moment

Glad you're making the trip! Hope you have a great time man!

i'd check out the coffeeshop review section. Everything you ever wanted to know is in there, plus check out the strains too...

I'll be around since I live near...ride my bike into town...

For coffeeshops, it depends on what you're looking for. There's big busy places and small out the way places.

A few Recommendations:

Cafe 420
Lovely shop with a nice menu. Plus they have vaporisers and a microscope. And the Bar staff is really nice. Try the Super Silver Haze or the Neville's Haze for a niiice Sativa smoke.... wandered about the city for 2 hours in a haze trying to find my bike after smoking that neville's joint.....

Picasso
Nice shop on the Harlemmerstraat. They open at 8:00AM and I've heard they have a decent free breakfast, however i've never had it. Nice smokes from there although I don't remember the specifics i bought... (bad short term memory hehe)

You have been posted on the July Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=28160

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

First timers get my S G Collins recommendation
I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

Enjoy

within the website that FlyByNite mentions there is a section entitled How not to get hit by a bike

if you have already read this document then that is great

if you have not read this document then please please find some time to read it for your safety, the traffic in amsterdam is nuts and if you are smoking extra care is needed, so thanks

i hope you have a great trip to amsterdam ...

my advice to first timers in dam is:

research shops, reasearch smokes and research everyhting, then be prepared for it allll to go out the window, as after your first joint youll be completely lost in amdterdams maze of identical streets, and youll do nothing you planned, but it will be AMAZING.

an dont forget your spcae cake for the flight home

yea ive been researching a few places and there are 2 or 3 coffeeshops im making a point of going to otherwise we are going to just wander around and see what coffeeshops we end up at :P

Also want to go see some of the art and was thinking of seeing a few shows in the red light district :P

Edit - Has anyone ever taken space cakes on their flight home or do you just munch a few before checking in?
