Goa tends to be hit and miss, seems better in the morning hours than later on for some reason, spend some time chatting to the staff and they will see you right,

Been to Goa today. Walked up to it thinking it looked a bit grey and grotty. Picked a table that overlooked the street. It was an interesting experience.....in a good way. Nice weed Eidelweisse. It gave a nice buzz and helped me win backgammon! Bar staff were friendly and helpful too. I'm quite enjoying this walking around the Dam stoned. Just what the doctor ordered!

honestly, i was really disappointed, since ive expected some cool acid-style, goa playing hippie coffeeshop. what i found instead was shabby looking, dark, untidy room, where radio/pop music was playing. all the ash trays where full and trash was lying around everwhere. i bough a pre-rolled hash joint for 4 euros anyways, which was quiet good. even tho i didnt like it there it made me stay there for an hour. the seat i chose wasnt very comfortable.

maybe its just me, but the biggest problem i had was parobably the missleading name in the first place ;)

Goa has a nice outside seating area and has never been busy when I have been ( April the last 3 years ).
Indeed not the most unique or must see type of shop but the King Hassan has always been solid between 8 & 10.50 euros on my previous trips.
Also tried Super Silver Haze and Bubba Kush. Neither was anything special, but the staff is always super friendly and even orderd some kind of duck for us because we told him we were hungry, so he invited us to stay and eat out front he would have some food deliverd for us.
Roasted duck and some rice and veggies. 12 euro.
Can't discount the service here that is for sure.

I have not had a good memory of Goa thus for 8 years I was not any more.

I saw that it had to change owner and if you told me that the quality of weeds increased and that the place is nicer.

I will go back there why not;)

We did not buy here, Goa was not in our list and our bags too full.
But we stepped inside the same, just to look around and have memory of this place I have heard so much.
Pretty good, decent selection at the bar and beautifull people.
The thing that most impressed me was the very pretty container on the top of the bar, full of strong space muffin... They had a really appetizing apparence! :-)

Visited Goa on Friday 7th June 2013.

This place has really changed since I was last here a few years ago. Goa never had a vast selection but what they did was very good, strong trippy thai stick, real north indian charas, etc.

The hip hop blasting out as we walked in was a bit of a give away as to the type of clients this place expects and the Starbucks type staff polo shirts did not help either.

Bud tenders were a little aggressive and not very clued up on what they were selling, how long it was cured, if if it was indica/sativa. I looked at the menu and was immediately put off by the 2 gram minimum. The bud tender finally came round to talking to me in reasonable manner after I showed him a copy of the old Goa menu from 2009 that appears on FlybyNite's Amsterdam Coffeeshop menu site http://www.coffeeshopmenus.org/CoffeeshopMenus.htm. I told him how many hits FBN's site receives a month and this seemed to make him instantly let me take a photo of the menu.

So here is the menu......

My one review does not make a coffeeshops reputation. Please give this place a try and decide for yourselves but you have been warned. I left without making a purchase!
