The Mellow Yellow for me was the best shop when it comes to the atmosphere.
On our last day (which was the 2nd one in Amsterdam) we finaly made it to the "first coffeeshop ever".
3 days before we tried to grab some Orange Haze from the Blues Brothers, but it was sold out.
In the Mellow Yellow we found it and the dealer was very friendly. The Orange Haze tasted great and gave us a great high.
We also made a picture of the menu.

We smelled the Pot of Gold, which was good, but we didnt had so much money left to buy both the Orange Haze and the Pot of gold.
Sitting here is just great. You have nice tables and comfortabe sits.
Nice shop!

Glad you had a great time and some good smoke at Mellow Yellow sh@dy!

Mellow Yellow was (debatable) the first coffeeshop in Amsterdam.
The honor of being the very first coffeeshop in Holland goes to Sarasani in Utrecht. Peace.

bit confused by that post, as from the menu posted by Sh@dy at the top of the page---5 grams of Blueberry by my calculations should cost 32.50.plus a coffee maybe 2 or 2.50...so ..35 all up?
Maybe i'm trippin and misunderstood your post.
Also, i'm thinking why you would give 38 if the cost was less than 30 in the first place...seems like an odd number.

cant imagine the dealer being such a fool. the dealer at mellow yellow who served us, was the friendliest dealer i ever met. even though we knew everything about the difference between sativa and indica he told us the story, told us what he was smoking the whole day, what would be good for beginners and so on......gave us a good atmosphere. cant imagine this guy rips off your money

Well that's too bad. I'm still tempted to stop in and try the Trainwreck. I want to see how they do one of my favorite Humboldt strains.

the menus changed the 5 grms is set at 25 (few shops do sell 5 grms at 25 e)
i gave him 50 as i had no change.
The menu at Mellow Yellow is exactly the same as the one posted by shady. The menu has
not changed. The Blueberry is 4g for €25. It has been quite some time (many months) since the Blueberry was 5g for €25. I think you were spaced. Peace.
