Me and my buddy went in here last night. we asked the guy to explain some of the kushes since there was quite a selection (candy, purple, etc) but he seemed uninterested in doing so. No matter though as we looked at each of them and made our choices.
Purple Kush was very nice, strong and flavorful. Also tried the Blueberry Cheese which was good but didnt stand out too much for me. The OG Kush on the otherhand was an amazing smoke. Probably the closest thing you're going to find to the real deal, at least in a CS anyway.
Added bonus was the BurgerTime arcade game. Didnt get to play it I but will have to next time.

Best shop in the 'Dam for me.

Top quality buds, tried the Blue Cheese, Trainwreck, Headband & Pineapple Haze this week and all were extremely good samples. The BB Cheese was a bit dry but was my only complaint, smelled & smoked very nicely. Trainwreck was the buy of the trip. Sticky, stanky & at 10E a gram, good value IMO. Ditto for the Headband, though a bit more pricey. The Pineapple smelled very fruity and had a nice smooth smoke and clear, energetic head high.

Cool budtenders, nice interior, good music selection and their terrace seating is my favorite. I also mentioned ACD and pointed out Hestia's 420 Cup certificate on the wall and threw a thumbs up.

The perfect coffeeshop.

Had to return to check out the OG Kush and the Arcade machine again. Though I do like the OG very much maybe it wasnt as mind bending as I first thought it to be, still a very good smoke nonetheless. The OG18 from Katsu is about 4 Euro cheaper though and consistently solid so maybe I'll check out the Trainwreck and some non kush varieties next time. There will certainly be a next time due to their awesome arcade machine.

I was psyched enough to think they had a BurgerTime machine but it's so much more. Space Invaders, Galaga, Dig-Dug, Galaxia, Donkey Kong, DK Jr, Ms. Pac-Man, 1942, BombJack, etc, etc. They're all in there just flip through and choose which one you want to play. Old school arcade games represented big time here. :D

By far one of the best coffeeshops for having consistently good bud at decent prices, especially for the centre. I'll never make another trip to Amsterdam without going to the Green Place.

While there I was talking to the guys as they were asking me about what hestia and I were doing regarding taking notes and marking them on a scale of 1-10. Told them I do weed reports for the forums and had been doing this at their shop for about 3 years when I first found them. He said "We have been here 5 years, but people didn't really know we were here until 3 years ago" and *smiled* at me. That's when I said "You better give me more Blueberry Cheese now because when I do my trip report tonight, it will be gone tomorrow." Wrote the trip report that evening and went in the next day, sure enough they were out! Looked at the same guy behind the counter, said "Told ya" and we both broke out in laughter.

Green Place has always gotten and will always get two thumbs way up from me.

that rocked, we had one at school and we could get all the way to the end by the time we reached 6th form, superb game :D

edit- oh, and Defender was out at the same time, ever see anyone who had mastered it play, became an unreal reaction-fest, way beyond the intensity of other games at the time -- battlezone was great too (the one where you controlled a futuristic tank in a green vector display, two tank controls lever thingies to move your tank around..)
