Well as i said b4 i like the shop but!!
Last trip they dropped a tub on the floor which had a couple of gs in and skuff. They just got it of the floor and put it in the tub and back for sale:shock:
It was the last of there Amnesia Skunk on day 2 of my trip so i had some of there JH which may aswell have come off the floor.
I would still visit the shop but would not buy the last bits in the tub from this one.

How's the Laughing Buddha at Dampkring? I've seen it on many other shops menus for much higher prices and was wondering the quality of this shop's LB smoke.

This was the first coffee shop I visited on my first trip to amsterdam. Really bad vibes when I walked in, bud tender in no mood to talk about anything on the menu, was more interested in snapping "no service, in a minute" at anyone that coughed, cos the computers showing the menu had crashed. By the time I got to buying, I just grabbed a bit of king hassan randomly and legged it.

There was a different bud tender when I went back and he was better but the first guy? Utter cock who should learn to cope under pressure rather than being a dick to customers that put food in his mouth.

On the plus side the white russian was awesome. My friends said it was the best weed they bought on the visit and it was only 7.50.

well place has been done up menu shown on computer monitor tv in toilet with dolphins swimming round smoking room badly designed just 2 rows of seats against walls and a massive gap inbetween if there were just 2 of us instead of 4 would of worked better in house dealer was in a mood and mate walked right into it so not that good so far but went in just to get get a quick gram to get us started got the white russian 7.5 euros out of the 40 to 50 different types of skunks, solids and isolator i feel this was the best smoke of whole trip not as it was cheap but it killed us all within 5 minuetes had a lovely wierd kind of creamy taste loved it. when i next go over wont stay here for smoke as it dont feel like a coffeeshop atmosphere but will get the white russian

Made a special trip out here to try some of their 'Rifman' selection of hash.
I went for the Malika at €14 a grm. Wasnt as strong as I was expecting it to be and felt it was a little overpriced, nice clean smoke tho.

Cant comment too much on the place itself, staff were fine but the place was too small to make it inviting to stay for a spliff.

Too small? Did you not the see the flights of stairs to the 1st and 2nd floor?

They must have spent loads on their decor - its pretty fancy.

And yeah, the ground floors bud menu / counter display is probably one of the better ones!

The budtenders a bit wierd though! Think he's a bit deaf - not ignorant or anything coz I had to ask him twice for the Mako haze and he kept mumbling something about the drinks counter being in the darkish corner by the end! had to literally shout it at him!

Only had a few drinks here but bought a lot of weed form here. Expenssive though.

Top floor is where to chill - it's really nice and I could spend hours quite comfortably there.

Do you think they should have an intercom service on each floor where you can like, order bud or hash from your seat without leaving it and walking down some dangerously interesting looking stairway?

Sometimes you go into a place and make a quick visual scan, i guess its pretty easy to miss the narrow flights of stairs in buildings as narrow as they are in A'dam.

you sure you went to the old Pink Floyd and not to the original Dampkring?

For me the Dampkring was my favorite place to buy weed and their price were good too. The budtenders were allways cool but busy. I recommand the cheap laughing buddah at about 7eur per grams' that shit was great for the money. I also recommand the Salad Sativa wich is a mix of all the left over of their sativas- dont expect big buds but believe me after smoking a blunt of that salad i was spaced out big time, and that is when their yummy fantastic 5euros milkshake helped me to quench my thirst.

Stopped in here on my last trip, bought some salad indica for 4 or 4.50 a gram.

Rolled one with half the bag, didn't need to grind it because it was not a bud but loose little pieces like if it had already been ground. Strong high that lasted for 20 minutes before a real stoned feeling came on, I just went back to my hotel and laid down for two hours. Strong stuff for the price, but save it for bed time. I am only an occasional smoker so it might not be as strong as I thought.

The atmosphere was ok, a little crowded yet the third floor was closed off for some reason. Mix of tourist and locals, I was hearing Dutch, English and Italian. Friendly dealer, weighs out the bags right in front of you.

Yeah the salad indica and salad sativa is worth it. I bought 3 gr of salad sativa for less than 20 euros and it was sooo strong and the taste was weird as it is a mix of all their left-over. I didnt know they had the salad indica but i recommand ya'll get the salad sativa, coz after i smoked it i waslike wtf would i spend 12 euros a gram on some supa dupa haze when a 6 eur a gram fucked me up big time, and believe me i'm a heavy smoker.
