Good music and good weed, but would liked to have seen it in its hey day when selling beer as well, it seemed a bit quiet in there. Bought some of the shiva they had their and it wiped me out though, and with a nice hot chocolate from the friendly barmaid it was a great place to cill and watch the world go by

I always make a beeline for this place.
Found it totally by accident on my first trip and have gone back many times.
It was great when you could get a beer but even now, it's a great place to smoke.

I LOVE 420.
This has to be the absolute BEST café in the ENTIRE earth and im totaly serious.
I mean where in the world can you find a excellent big sized cafe where there is alays room for more people and where the staff serve you high quality marijuana and hash along with the greatest hot chocholades with massive mountains made of whipp cream on top of the glasses.
the budtender is always very proffesional and take time for you and answer all your questions with a smile. They be more than happy to vape anything for you or even roll up ppls joints (which iv witnessed).
The athmosphere in there couldnt been better. oh and the girls behind the bar .. so bautiful all of them and also they are super friendly.
You can always find better weed or hash elsewhere in amsterdam but i havent found one cofeshop that beats 420 on athmosphere and "good feel".
Best cafe in the wourld imho.
Oh they have a super cool cat too.
and wery nice NYC Diesel

Glad you mentioned the cat, was so so so mellow the last time I was there. Just the tip of its tail flicking like a metronome

I don't think we ever saw any cats
Seriously, though...how can they NOT be the most chilled out cats ever?

I think the cat in De Kuil also runs De Kroon over the road, as he is to be seen strolling from one place to the other - when he's not chilling out in either one, of course!

I noticed cats in just about every bar, coffee shop, and restaurant that I went into. The only exception was the Hard Rock Cafe' they didn't have a cat, but I did see a mouse there. Coincidence???

Aye noticed that myself, although i think the reason for that is because of the amount of water and sewers in amsterdam, keeps the mice away as well....

the 420 cat is definitely more chilled than mine
