problem is i smoke joints mostly, that sure would be a waste of ice in a joint.

Hunter posted somewhere that there is no Darkstar at the moment, Betty Boop had it last time I was there but not sure about any more, could be from the same supplier for all i know.

Didn't like the orange bud, but i'll go back to try something different, was a nice place.

Nice shop down there, very bright and airy....deffinately one of the best on that street. As for the Sativa Ice, hmmm...40 to 50 bucks is probably closer to the mark. Lacks any real fragrance, slight floral hash scent maybe. Feels and looks like a soft Riffman hash, burns like polm though, doesn't bubble, no real deffinative taste retained from the origional strain however I'm not a big fan of that strain in the first place. Strength wise, it's on a par with Terminator and Dampkrings 60 euro waterworks (should be 40)...outta the 3, the 50 euro Terminator gets my vote. I'm thinking the price is purely based on the hype surrounding the strain, which is not necessarily the shops fault.

Na the prick that tried to tell me what to buy was a big spanish (I think) fella, typical cocky arrogant gym freak wanker. He didnt persuade me to buy what he felt I should smoke, I just left and just before I got to the bud counter he was slamming down bud tubs as hard as he could at the 3 english fellas who had the cheek to ask to see the buds first. Its a pity as I did enjoy my previous trips to hunters, the other budtenders are real friendly. Just a pity one prick bud tender is making quite a few people avoid hunters and I dont spend small in CS high grade hash and Ice all the way for me, Grey Area got my money that time.

last over in may,,,and once again never had a prob in here, either with weed or service,,,,my 2nd fav shop after basjoe

Glad that you dropped by to sample for yourself.

Now, the issue of the bubbling. I personally do no purport to be any kind of an expert on isolater hash or its production. Therefore we posed the question back to the supplier for his personal view. I would obviously be interested in anybody elses input.

According to our man, the trichomes of sativa plants are smaller than those of indica plants. The effect of this is far less evidence of bubbling. This is his explanation, in short. As you said yourself, the strength is certainly on a par with the very best comparable products available in the city.

I would say that I was surprised that you commented on a lack of discernible fragrance. Of all the ice which we sell I can actually note the smell of the weed quite clearly. The same with the LA Murder which we sell (extracted from LA Confidential). Other ice often seems to offer little or no scent but those two for me are really quite distinct in their aroma.

Anyway, thanks for the comments about the shop and I appreciate your view.

... and no, I'm not Captain Morgan... I wonder whether your reference is towards our tall Dutch chap with a penchant for dark rum? I believe he darkens your door regularly.

My friend, if you don't mind me pointing it out to you, you seem to have this recurring obsession with our Spanish chaps physique. I wonder what Dr.Freud would say? I also wonder whether you assume that every individual who looks after their body indulges in steroids? Though with all your nasty comments I should not really waste my time responding, I will once again reiterate some information which I gave to this board before (given that you personally appear to have difficulty finding the B-side to that stuck record). Jose is a big lad, a big excitable guy. He has a larger than life personality and a physical presence to match. He loves his job, likes to entertain in his own off-the-wall way. Yes, he slams down the boxes, Ive seen him do it. But, not in an intimidatory or unfriendly way (as per your inference). Its just him making a 'bit of a show' if you like. We discussed here previously the merits of offering a bud over the initial gram. Some like it that way, others prefer to have their buds broken down into the exact gram. No probs, I think there will always be two schools of thought on that one.

I would be more sympathetic if you weren't so personal and vitriolic in your outbursts towards us. But frankly, most of us moved on from name calling by the time we entered senior school. Perhaps next time you're over you'd like to drop us a note and we can arrange for you to pop by and deliver your opinions to Jose personally.
