When it's all said and done NES is almost the perfect place for a smoker who likes there beer. If it had a canal view it would be the perfect place. For starters it's very central yet tucked away so the casual stoner pissheads dont ruin it or make it to loud and uncomftable for the smokers among us who like a beer or soft drink with there joint & a general good time and fair prices for the location to. Probably the best bar staff in Dam as I've never been to another bar where you get the bags and a drink thrown in for free by being a member of this place!. To be in an enviroment where you get everything you could ask for and being able to mix with the locals and other people that you can in NES you'd possably not frind in any other place in Amsterdam is something I'll never take for granted.

I need more than luck Dave, same old thing here! Actually pray for me or at least think about me when you fire up the good stuff every now and then. I told Gapie to tell you that you were right, she thinks I screwed 50 hoes while I was there, lol, I might need you to talk to her and verify no such thing occurred. Anyway, hope all is well with you and yours and all I have to say, is Nes is my happy place, I just go there in my mind when life starts sucking.

Well seeing as this thread has been running near 6 years says it all!. Only 11 negatives in that time against 99 posatives says it all!. How many an Amsterdam place would love that sort of review ratio long term on a site like this!.

I'd guess 10/11 are the idiots that Dave has locked horns with over the years.

I'm sure some of them are but 't Nes aint everybodies cup of T, so there's probably a few genuinely don't like it. C'est la vie?. It is what it is, a cheap bar where ya can find a cheeky game of pool, owned and run by stoners. Suits us Sir.
