I can tell you that Chronic, Mako and LA are all now sadly finished. Certainly LA will be back soon.
Y'know, Mako Haze is a funny one. You get a batch of it, looking and smelling quite delicious. The effect is generally the most pure sativa buzz on the shelf, and yet 9/10 customers looking for something more 'high' simply ask for Amnesia / SSH without prompting. Mako also has such a unique smell and taste. For a day time cerebral buzz it really hits the spot for me and carries less of a body blow than the Amnesia/SSH. An 'all in the head' experience. I for one am sad to see the end of our recent batch. Hopefully we shall see a fresh version in the tubs soon.
The Chocolope is a super fresh batch. Just stick yer head in the box and tell me you don't wanna smoke that!
The Lavender remains my own personal favourite evening time smoke. But beware, the end of this fine batch is nigh
We look forward to entertaining any of you in town this weekend. And, if you're lucky enough to be here this weekend you get to enjoy the splendour of the Sail2010 event, quite the most amazing thing you may see for a while.
Groetjes!

I really appreciate the tips on what Hunter likes personally as no doubt his resistance is high like a lot of us die-hards so his views on what does the trick is valued..
I love the quality hash's as you all know but once they start getting to 15 e/g even I as a hash addict have to pull back, I mean the new cream, thats like 7e a spliff, 420e an oz. Kinda nuts really, the euros killing it off man..
About all this abuse the Spanish budtender receives, its been said before but do we have to be so rude/direct/abusive when we are lucky enough to have regular contributions from the owner, and like he says if you wouldnt say it face to face then dont say it. Its clear a lot of you find him abrasive but working the very central coffeeshops is little different to running a bar in Soho or Times Square or wherever, you have to be very robust and remain in control over and above being sweet and nice, it goes with the area IMHO
-a couple of months ago I sat on a rainy afternoon for an hour or so watching him and all the different waifs and strays (me included) that drifted in and out, with the comments about him that I had read previously in my mind, and it amazes me how any budtender can be expected to be a gentle perfect ambassador for the whole dope community when
a) a fair percentage of the customers are off their heads and can barely communicate what they want clearly (definately me included), as evidenced by several who i saw being dealt with very fairly and patiently by the same dude
b) like any central location there are the inevitable idiots/drunks/mad people who have to be gently exited from the premises, again dealt with well, id want a budtender who could handle himself and problem makers confidently as much as someone who has good personal skills..
c) all this dealing with the public day in day out wears you out, I work with the public in sales and I can assure you that sometimes you want to throttle the fuckers, they can be rude, dumb or waste your time etc and rarely appreciate how annoying they (the public) are coming across, so I think take that all into account and be grateful we arent having to buy through a little slit in a fortified steel door with some heavy mother-f ready to 'handle' complaints!
d) the guy actually makes a superb cappucino, easily the best I had in dam and i love my coffee as much as I love my hash, the man knows how to make blended froth from the milk as opposed to bubbles, not many can or bother, he did!
In the old days of Dam there was no expectation (on my part anyway) of high customer service like some of you seem to expect as standard, id like to see the big moaners here doing the job month in month out and still being sweet, I suspect they might be a bit more sympathetic if they were doing it. I mean take the older black guy whose job it is to keep the front of Bluebird in order. Ive seen him be really short tempered and harsh with idiot young tourits acting selfishly/badly, who would no doubt write some abuse on a forum when they got home, but when you spend a lot more time in these places you realise that there is a very fine line between well behaved stoners and people who are needing to be told how to behave, and you have to be bittersweet I daresay in order to get through the day. He also can come across as rude etc but when you invest more observation time you realize how neccessary it is to have someone who is in control around..remember folks Ive seen with my own eyes the guys from Bulldog beat the crap out a customer kickboxing style who crossed some boundary or other, so its relative really....
