RS3 (€16p/g) - Never heard of this strain. Guessing it’s a Rainbow Sherbet pheno. Anyway, very nice smoke. Clean and tastes just as it smells. Would recommended.

Lemon Larry OG (€12p/g) - I’ve had many batches of this in the past from Solo. This one seems more darker and stickier than the last batch, which was dryer and much lighter in colour. Still up there though! Again another very nice smoke and for the price it’s one of my favs every trip!

Sour Apricot Frozen (€16p/g) - Really enjoyed this one. Smells amazing in the tub also. Not as flavourful as I’d hoped for the price, but looks natural and tastes very clean.

24k Gold? (€14p/g)? - This was just added to the menu. I’m sure it was just 24k and not a cross, but I could be wrong? Smelt better in the tub than the apricot tbh, lovely natural Moroccan smell with the orange notes coming through. Very dark and oily, but not too sticky, more like a wet sand texture. It falls apart easily and smokes amazingly.

Gonna Make the trek here now. Hope to post a menu soon

Looks like this shop is popular again since five, six years now.
Also still know it from back in the days operating under 'Stix 2' so technically even belonged to a chain and famous for Nepalese Temple Balls back then.
Called in here since then until this very day every now and then. Lovely coffeeshop tucked away from Nieuwmarkt.
Still as before a strong local clientle and mainly Dutch spoken, everytime we sat down there. Friendly, too. Compared to before they upgraded their menu of hashish fortunately.
Over the years good quality was purchased here in this regard, but rarely exceptional hashish. Latter one is the reason for entering a coffeeshop in my humble opinion – prices are riddiculous everywhere, but I prefer paying more for exceptional rather than paying less for then only good quality.
Though I still see their function and would welcome more of such coffeeshops compared to another one off a chain, that's for certain!
Not to forget it is still possible to sit down here and the music isn't bad either! Food would be lovely, but one can't have it all, especially – not impossible though as others have proven - with such a limited room. Smaller menu than elsewhere, but well chosen items in my humble opinion, less is more and a few more or less standouts included sometimes.
Of course their wares have a limit of quality as the majority of goods tend to be directed at locals, so they seem to have a good price-performance ratio for a certain quality, but the very best or exceptional, no matter how good they may be connected, is sold for a similar too high price like at other coffeeshops, so savings are negligible, if anyone out there really is looking for more reasonable prices.
Their traditonal Moroccan hashish never did it for me,
but the rest is at least worth a look.
Got some Blow Orange Frozen drysift here the other day, which was good quality, but not unique and with charging 23€ per gram as overpriced as elsewhere.

Tasteful traditional moroccan. Very nice smell, fresh stuff and good light buzz. New to the menu

Strawberry Frozen hash (14€/g) - Kind of wet sand consistency. Bubbles nicely when touched by the flame. Very natural smell and good taste. As always Coffeeshop Solo never dissapointed me in terms of hash. Well it´s not the holy grail of hash but nice quality.

I actually wanted to try the hashes with which they recently won some High Life Cups but unfortunately they weren't on the menu yet (but I spotted them on their current menu on the Menu page).

I was in solo on the 30th June just missed you marok ...I got 2 great weeds and 1 beautiful hash

it's labled a cup winner and I can see why ..smell from the tub is top class and transferes great flavour while smoking very smooth and hits hard from me

This was also great weed.. solid nugs with beautiful aroma smoked very clean and had a nice high a real bargain for the price I'm sure it would be more expensive in other shops

Wonderful looking stuff creamy almost like wax..great flavour hard hitting hash also another cup winner..I'm sure this would be more expensive elsewhere..
All in I was very impressed with solo this time definitely 3 of the nicest smokes we had on our quick trip ...still a top shop for me

Had a look at the Zkittlez too, looked and smelled good. Sadly after breaking up a nug I noticed it contained immature seeds + micro seed, such a pity

Has anyone tried the strains by Mythodic at Solo? Not cheap but appears to be an excellent Dutch grower

Sadly not because I mainly go for hash but heard many really good things about their weed from people who smoke a lot. Really interesting information, I'll keep an eye out for it next time I'm there and will test it out if I find anything from "Mythodic".

Dosidos hash (22€/g High Life 3rd price for "House Special Hash") - Pretty similar to the batch with what they won the highlife cup 2024. Last time it was made by "Drytech" while sadly I didn´t asked this time. Very well cured that makes it taste very pleasent with a very relaxing strong stoned effect.

Easy brother, Thank you for being receptive. There work is not cheap. A bit expensive for Dutch prices but hopefully it will not be too prohibitive. I am back in Holland next month (Rotterdam/Hague...otherwise i would have visited Solo
