Haggis is a savoury pudding containing sheep's pluck (heart, liver and lungs); minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally encased in the animal's stomach and simmered for approximately three hours. Most modern commercial haggis is prepared in a sausage casing rather than an actual stomach.
Haggis is a traditional Scottish dish, considered the national dish of Scotland as a result of Robert Burns' poem Address to a Haggis of 1787. Haggis is traditionally served with "neeps and tatties" (Scots for turnip and potato), boiled and mashed separately and a dram (a glass of Scotch whisky), especially as the main course of a Burns supper.

That made me laugh, indica dominant haggis! I will bring some tablet( a traditional Scottish sweet, its like a hard but crunchy toffee fudge), highland toffee bars and some Irn Bru bars. Sadly I can't bring any cans of Irn Bru(stupid customs 100ml rule) but I think Utopia have some! If you don't fancy the haggis you certainly won't want any black pudding! If you change your mind on the haggis, the sheeps stomach casing keeps it fresh it would travel fine!

Elasticband, cheers for the heads up on the Irn Bru, do you know if they have cans of diet or is it just the full fat version? Theres an Irn Bru bar with your name on it! Not long to wait now, roll on Nov 25th!!

We fly out from ATL tonight at 8pm. Hope to get some zzzzz on the flight so we have a great 1st day. Have to get the keys to the apartment and then find a coffee shop!
Any meet ups Thursday evening?
Anybody else going to Innovation In The Dam? We have tix for Saturday night.
FYI- sugar free Jolly's are very hard to find these days (not sure they are still made). No luck in our neck of the woods and the wife used to buy them at Walgreens.
