Some bars close because the hassle of staying open just aint worth the money they'll make on the night. You can only do so much business in a small location to a point where it becomes too busy for anybody to actually enjoy it. We close our doors 15 mins before midnight then go on a door policy of "If I don't recognise ya, yer not getting in."

Thanks again for your PM DC, sorry if I sounded stupid but last year when we went everything was packed and a lot of places were early closing, but we managed to get a seat in the Doors Palace so it was alright. This year we want to plan our trip a little more than next year so we won't end up in the streets ^^

Just wanted to stop by and say hello and Merry Christmas. I hope all is going well for you and rest of the gang Dave. I am planning my return for 4/20 and my big 40 birthday party that day at your fine establishment. I can't wait to see you and I might PM you Dave for some relationship advice.

DC, can I ask you what the current selection of beer that Nes has on tap?

My buddy loves the pints, and we're curious to stop by in Feb.

I know they have gulpeners on tap. IM not even a beer drinker and I like this beer. Wish we could buy it in the states.

I November it was Gulpener, Palm, La Chouffe and Gerardus.

Off-topic, but their large Grolsch flip-top bottles for 3 euro is a pretty sweet deal.

The staff here are rude and horrible to me while pleasant and nice to their other paying customers. Constantly making fun of my looks, speech, fashion sense, stuttering etc. I hate it so much that I go almost every day for pool and banter. The manager didn't even thank me for his Christmas gift! The two bartender boys there are clearly homosexual and the young lady tender is a bit brash. I am planning a call to the HR department at NES tomorrow afternoon at 16:00 to voice my concerns. But when you want a good beer at a fair price this is the place to go. Despite their surleyness, I strongly encourage heavy tipping while at this establishment, if people have been cheap or rude they'll take it out on me next monday.
