I'll be visiting this place in December as we are staying virtually next door at Hotel CC. I think I'll bring my own weed though.

Its not on the proposed list of coffeeshops due to close in 2014 due to the 250 meter school rule, maybe closing for another reason or maybe they are doing a refurbishment and may reopen

It was me who mentioned it on my travelogue. Sadly it looks like Coffeeshop 36 is closing down soon. The budtender says their license runs out soon and he's 99% sure it won't be renewed. They've been fighting to stay open for a while but it looks like they've lost. Another coffeeshop is soon to be lost. Sad news.

The budtender seemed to think all the coffeeshops on Warmoesstraat will close when their licenses run out. Some don't run out for a couple years but if he's right we'll start to see them close down one by one.

A shame to see 36 close. I always loved the fact that the Police station here had a cluster of shops around it. Have fond memories of eating a lot of cakes here with some sweet Canadian girls in the summer of 95, before staggering back to Vliegenbos together.

The manager told me there was a possibility they'd be allowed to open somewhere else but nobody knows yet which shops will be allowed to relocate. He described it as a lottery.
