tried this place for the 1st time last week...
friendly place with both locals and tourists, cheap drinks & good weed...
they have cheap Internet Access, games and even a babyfoot... :p

the budtender and the bartender i meet the 2 firsts visits were frienldy but at my 3rd visit, i got a new budtender who sold me really crap stuff...
it was only leafs and branches but no buds at all and all was dry as hell... 2/3 of the bag have go to trash cause unsmokable... on the 1g of cheese i got the 3rd time, i don't even have enough for making a little good spliff...

so if you go here, take care about what you buy for don't be ripped off...

What is a babyfoot? Table football?

In order to avoid buying "leaves and branches", ask to see the bud before you buy it. The budtenders usually have no problem letting you see and smell what you are going to buy. When it gets down to the bottom of the container and you ask for that strain, then they are going to sell you what they have of that strain. If you ask to see it first and dont like it, then you can always choose another strain that looks more appealing to you or you can say "No, thank you" and go elsewhere. Just my 2 cents. Peace.

And good advice. If they don't let you have a look before hand (which I personally have never had anyone refuse) then I would think there is something a bit suspect about it. At least you know what you are buying in advance this way.

i know i could ask to see, but as it was my 3rd visit and weed was really good the 2 first time, i haven't think i needed to take a look... and in same time, i was busy with the bartender to order our drinks, so i haven't take care to what the budtender sold me (i trusted him due to previous shopping)...
but anyway, i don't think a CS should sell that stuff, it's what street dealers sell to teens here who buy weed for 1st time...
and when i was in Noon the previous day, the budtender told me before i buy than what i requested was only the rest and wasn't good for smoke... MY's budtender could have do the same...

bahhh, i will take care next time...

True. I know what you are saying. I have usually been lucky in this way though and remember 4 shops off the top of my head (De Kuil, Grey Area, Pink Floyd and The Coin) who have all pre warned me off buying the dregs at the bottom of the container which I thought was good of them.

But saying that there is no doubt that some shops will be more than happy to get rid of what they have.

Excellent shop, excellent quality, excellent service and not 2 busy!
There are some better CS but this easily makes the top 5 in the Dam in my eyes.
Always make a point 2 visit every trip for supplies it also is a good starting point to tour the other CS in the area which are also very good!

nice shop, really good weed, havent tried their hash, but i will risk saying their Super Silver Haze is the best sativa in town

I'm thinking of making Mellow Yellow my first CS visit. It will be my first time in A'dam, and I like the idea of getting my first bake at the town's first CS.

thats how we did it as well. it is a good spot to start with amsterdam. It is not so crowded, has some of the best quality and you will be able to take your time choosing the weed/hash you wanna buy without too many others standing behind you waiting. Was our first shop in Adam and is our favourite since then

The way they do it at MY is you must roll your tobacco mix joint inside but you must go outside to smoke it. They seem more concerned about people smoking tobacco inside than people smoking weed outside. The locals at the shop, sometimes go outside with their tobacco mix joints and sometimes not.
