Your initial questions and points were valid, no argument from me. There are differences between our views, but where we absolutely differ is in the method which you chose to respond to some, including me. Regardless if you thought some comments directed towards you were offensive, which none of mine were thank you very much, you had a choice in how to respond. Without regurgitating the past, you did elevate the temperature of the conversation on a number of occasions when you could've/should've moved on, leaving others stuck on stupid.
Now that the temps have dropped considerably, you choose to turn the them up again with inflammatory comments, which were met with.... wait for it... an equal measure in return. If there is one among many lessons to be learned in this thread - don't feed the animals (meaning don't antagonize), you might get bit (meaning insulted). Voice your opinions, comments, thoughts, or whatever, but don't cross the line or worse, be baited to cross the line. There are some in this world that would love nothing more than to bait people into an argument.
It comes down to this simple thought - just because we can doesn't mean we should. So many applications...

Uncle Ron i just read through 34 pages again, to see exactly where I could of possibly offended you or replied to you in a bad way. I can't find it. I didn't think I did. If I have please direct me to the comment, as I'm obviously doing something I don't know I'm doing.

Cattales would you be someones friend if they called you a one trip wonder for no reason at all and told you, you were stirring the pot, when all you were doing were asking questions? I just read over it all again. i didn't start the attack.

Joosy attacked me first, as did Spidergawd. I'm not going to respect somebody that is going to insult me. He knew he was doing it. To try to tell me anything different means your trying to tell me that an insult isn't an insult. I don't want his friendship or his respect. Neither do I want it off people who thinks it's alright to do something like that even on a forum or the internetyou can't write what you want at people over the internet. You say you mean it. These words are real not imaginery.

Slip and sal..the reason you got abused I think is that spidergawd made one snarky comment and you totally overreacted . All you had to do is say spidergawd why are you busting my stones about only being in the dam once. Give him a chance to retract and or apologize. Going right to the punch in the face comment seemed.....?? Absurd? Then I believe spidergawd apologized and you responded by kind of joking about your punch on the face comment.good start but right at the end you poked him with a stick again..don't discount at this point that some people are having fun fucking with you at this point. I almost pissed my pants when treetop or someone explained to shaggy that he made some great points but thought he speculated a bit etc. Then said"now I must smash you in the face"

There is clearly a lot of banter that goes on between regular members here and some members might have a more serious attitude to what gets said in there direction prehaps due to not really knowing members on this board to well weather or not thats on a forum level or having not met in person is not the point.

The point is someone who might make a comment to someone on here and that person takes the comment that might have been directed in a humourus or non serious and non trouble making way does not make that person a bad person or trouble maker if the intendee on a post takes it totaly the wrong way and out of context from how it might have been made and intended. In such circumstances surely it's better to ask what is ment by a post or comment instead of reacting in a negative over the top way.

Slip, I do not dislike anyone on here, even you. I enjoyed reading your trip report and such and if you go back and see Im not really into the bantering unless its a gentle thing that the person will understand. I did grow up though to stand up to bullys and when you said that to spidergawd I was like WTF??? SP ask us to stop and I did not respond after that but you kept digging and digging ( and so did others) and I could not keep quiet anymore because my beef did not have to do with whether or not you ask a question , but that you threatened another member on this board. I think if you drop this now people we gradually forget about your behavior and things will move on as a forum should.

I would of laughed instead of gotten mad if you would of responded with a funny answer. I would of laughed again. It was a silly comment to get yourself all upset over. Now try and calm down and this will go away. They always do.

I know I overreacted, but only because i thought his comments were a major overreaction to a discussion.

I didn't see him apologize anywhere. Then his buddy obviously starts a thread about what he has missed while he is away, someone tells him fights since he was gone, so he runs straight here and brings up past comments to give me his thoughts on them. Why would i like or react well to any of this shit, when all i did was start a thread about a topic that was a topic at the time. I didn't stir any pot and just relayed information I was seeing. His attack was totally uncalled for. Maybe if you are all gunna persist on giving me your views of me as a human being, you should go back and get it right how it happened. I'm even being told that I was rude or answered incorrectly or something to people on here, that I really haven't been rude too. Namely Uncle Ron we he said "even me" fucks me where.

Also Cisco, I don't like Joosy because she/he has been less then nice to me. Not because I got proved wrong. How did I get proved wrong anyway? Never did I say that the weed pass was a definite. I always said "if" it does, because that's all we knew at the time. It had been proposed. I was never looking to be right either.

Well Cattales I don't believe the comment was made as a funny comment. We must differ a lot because if anyone ever said stuff like that to me, I would never take it as a joke. Maybe after you all read my proper trip report that I have been trying to work on then, you all might realise why it was especially harsh for Spider to say what he did.
