WOW,just woke up in a dream, but then realised I was still dreaming, apparently neutrinos can not only go as fast as light but can also go as slow as light and even faster and slower,so this thread no longer exists but also exists and even better it has not ever been a thread on this forum, but apparently I am typing crap as there was a wire unplugged and a fibre was thingymagob and some scientist who has never smoked weed has decided that we are all living in alternative universes but another scientist asked him what is a universe and he replied" I don t know, but don't worry the weedpass thing has been sucked down a blackhole" but most importantly was what the scientists agreed, and this was that this thread is faster than light, but not as fast as a Leprechaun dancing under the pale moon light.

Say, how's the weed pass thing going anyway?
Happy trails...

All 16 coffeeshop will be tested by the Bibob Law, which means they will check us all on having criminal contacts. We spoke out about the Weedpass, so now they try to get us out of business. A Bibob investigation is meant for businesses that are suspicious, if it turns out bad, they can revoke the license of the coffeeshop involved.
Well it looks as though they are trying different routes. Like shutting them completely. This was from Nols facebook.

Situation in Eindhoven: spoke to several coffeeshop staff yesterday. 4 out of 5 visited coffeeshops expect it to start on 1st of May and were well prepared for it(flyers, posters and stuff). One wasn't sure about it.
Will keep an eye on it coming weeks. Fingers crossed.

Because of the back-door policy every coffeeshop must by definition be involved in some form of criminality. The products they sell have to be produced by someone who's committing a criminal act. Ergo, they could find something criminal on every coffeeshop if they really tried.
Let's face it, the weedpass, hash ban, thc limits, etc, are really all just ways to undermine the economic viability of coffeeshops, so that they can do what they really want - which is to get rid of the coffeeshop system completely.

Talking to a man in Voyagers last week (an American, seemed to be working there??) - he said he thought the pass WOULD come in, and into Amsterdam. When I said I'd heard it was down to individual mayors of the cities, he said that's fine with the current mayor but what happens when a new mayor is elected?
I know that THC (The Haarlem Coffeeshops) are due in court sometime very soon over this. I honestly don't know what will happen (like all of us) but as time goes on am finding it more of a worry than I did a year ago.
Already been on 3 trips this year, have more in May, July, August, November and December. May as well make the most of it whilst I can. Next year will go to Copenhagen, Sweden, Portugal, Spain or one of the other countries that now appear more enlightened than Holland.
Sad though as I will really miss the wonderful vibe in Amsterdam and the joy of wandering by the canals, parks, etc. That said, once the weed and freedom associated with being able to smoke it goes, Amsterdam will NOT be the same and not have that special vibe it does now.
