Does anybody know the opening times here on the 24th and 25th of this month? I've never spent Christmas in Amsterdam so going to head in for 2 nights but don't get there until about 9pm on the Tuesday evening. I'd hate to go all the way over there and the place be closed. Cheers in advance..

Here I took a gramm of super silver Haze, and it was normal, nothing special.
On the other hand, I smoked a joint of white choco, and it was nice !
This CS is far from the center but it is a nice place, very comfortable.

Wow, today I was told to "WHY DON'T YOU JUST BUY SOME WEED IN ADVANCE AND GO DRY IT OUT FOR YOURSELF!" because I have learned to ask if their weed is dry before purchasing.
I replied that they should take care of their own damn products, because I don't want to pay extra for dampness that makes me cough (I didn't even specifically mention the budrot), that I found it ridiculous to tell customers to dry the weed themselves.
I then was told to fuck off and go somewhere else

Sounds like somebody had a good time on the weekend and a hard one coming down... what a fucking asshole! And I thought they were only rude to me because I wasn't local. This could be one of the best shops in town if it wasn't for the shitty location, the shitty service and their rude, grumpy fuck faces.

I would freak out if any BT would tell me that. I can´t describe in my words what I´m feeling right now. That is just an impudence.
Is there no honour more in the CS?
Moldy and wet Weed. That´s just unacceptable in a not tourist shop like that.
I never had problems with the service or quality right now..
But maybe they have more respect íf they notice you are a connoisseur.

This was the older grey-curly-hair guy, and he's always been friendly with me in the past. It was him that I returned the bag of mouldy Super Silver Haze to... he probably marked me as a difficult picky customer then. Which I am. Sadly. I'm forced to be picky because their weed is so inconsistent and the BT's suggestions so useless.

Yes sir, please underweigh and overcharge me while you make jokes in dutch. Don't even bother closing those bags, I prefer to roll crumbles straight outta my pocket. No need to greet or say good bye. Feel free to treat me the same way as you treated the crack hobo who took a shit in front of your shop window the other day. After all the employees are the ones who make it all happen... we just bring in the money- we're unworthy!

yip, quality and service seems to have gone out the door the last months or two.
So where are ye frequenters from the forum shopping instead?
Amnesia haze from De Supermarkt because it's close.

The upper post was just me being (un)funny. A totally over the top rant on bad coffeeshop service in general. They never were really friendly at Bij/BJ, except for maybe one or two times. But I never was told to fuck off - at least not yet. I haven't been around since July, no idea if things changed. I never got mold weed either, but a few damp bags. I always asked them to show me whatever I was going to buy beforehand, maybe that got on their nerves after awhile. A bad service quote "the difference between those (amazing haze & amnesia haze) is amnesia costs 9 and the other one 11."

(whatever the prices were)
edit: I mentioned BJ/Bij briefly in this one:

I'm guessing that somebody must have made a mistake when refilling the tubes. They actually make it hard to recommend anything because of hit and miss stories like this... you need to check/smell the tubes every single time you buy something

gets quite annoying.
