Situation in Tilburg: very friendly brown-haired lady budtender of the Toermalijn told me yesterday it'll start 1st of May! There is somewhat of a hearing at a council or whatever about it on 18th of April but they are not that optimistic.
Quite the contrary: she's already looking for a new job.
I hung around for a couple of hours and it was subject of conversation every five minutes!

Two other shops I visited see it coming, too! One wasn't that sure though.

Still keeping an eye on it coming weeks.

Just horrible! Image

This is very sad news.
Looks like this Aug/Sept. will be my 8th and last trip, without the herbs Amsterdam isn't Amsterdam.

the politcally correct way to say it is "the calorically challenged lady has not sung yet" hehe

Any more doubts that the EU was only created to be a pain in the ass; on purpose? I would love to see it fall. It's all about raising costs for no other reason but to steal our time & money plus taking our freedom.

Does not sound like you know much about Dutch politics. The PVV was not leading the charge against CS, it has always been the CDA. Plus it is a highly local issue for certain provinces.

Anyway, what relevance does US/Israeli money contributed to the PVV have on coffeeshops?

Evidence?

As I said, you don't know much about Dutch politics/society. Its cool, I have lived here for 4 years and still learning.

The EU leaned on NL to close the coffeeshops, but more specifically the border countries of France and Germany. They would have made same the pressure if the EU never existed/
