Thanks for the tip HD.
Couldn't resist a quick look earlier, in fact, today was the first day and they had a white balloon arch outside to celebrate. Similar Boerejongers/Bij aesthetic has been used including the electronic menu screens, although they seem to have gone for more of a white theme, including a white medical smock for the pretty blonde bud tenderess. I guess it's a nod towards the whole kind-meds - LA thang, but I think it should work really well on what's become quite a yuppie street, appealing to the hipsters and the Supper Club stoners.
Importantly, Menu wise, quite similar in price range to the shops in the west, with not quite the same markup as the Dampkring shops, so good news there. I went for something new in the lower price range, Dr Candyspoon (8.50 p/g). I forgot to check but I'm guessing a cross with Grinspoon and Candy Kush. Has the same odd fluffy bud structure, not much smell but some interesting chalkyness to the buds. About to start testing...
If they can match the quality of the local shops, this is going to be good news without the long hike.

Is smoking allowed in this branch or is it a buy n fly job like the western shops?

Buy and fly, although quite a noticeable staircase in the wood panelled interior so I could be wrong. Only had time to quickly check it out.
Dr Candyspoon is lovely and potent, very nice buzz and slightly racey, was listed Indica. Would be considerably more costly from neighbouring shops I think...

I heard somewhere that Bij/BJ owns Dampkring 2 and Tweede Kamer, is this what you're referring to? Not sure if I really heard that, or imagined it haha

i would have said by the look of the candy kush and the candyspoo, that the CS was just the shrap and not so developed buds from candy kush.

Sorry to hear that elasticband, did you find anything you did like there?
My gram of Dr Candyspoon had a bit of that loose, bubbly bud structure you get with Dr Grinspoon and distinct Sativa leaning. Maybe it was first-day luck but it really kicked my ass in the vaporizer over the weekend
My place is still closer to Bij and Borejongers, but still nice to have a new option in the centre.

Tried the Alegria, SSH and Lemon Haze today at the new location on Utrechtsestraat - all excellent, prices better than anywhere i've seen. Great selection, found it very hard to choose between the strains on offer. Nice shop, decent service and will most definitely return to sample more soon.

was in the new Shop at Utrechtsestraat this weekend. Never was at Boerejongens in the past.
The Shop itself is very small and look like a pharmacy... the staff (2 ladies) wear white coats like
doctors

Like in the other Boerejongens Shops it´s not allowed to smoke in there.

yes I had the same...great selection but it is very hard to choose between the strains... so I asked the budlady for a really strong sativa like Haze or something... she showed me 3 strains... all looked and smelled great! Can´t really remember the names of the strains... but I took the Super Silver Strawberry Haze because it had the best smell in my opinion. Also
tried their Malika (14€/g) Hash (a darker brown creamy hash) wich was nice, too... I prefer the Rifman Sensabille (from Dampkring) in taste but it was still a really good bit of hash.
My first impression of Boerejongens is pretty good... it seems like that they have some killer weed for top prices... the SSSH was damn strong...nice flushed and of course tasty!
It´s great that they have a shop "near" the centrum now... that was not my last visit here
