this for some reason,was the first shop i ever went in, scary doorman,pushy waitrsses, and i bought their most exspensive weed and it was a total let down! no strong high,not much of a buzz at all..... amazingly the place was quite full? i must of looked like a green horn! lucky for me i found the dampring, noon, duch flowers and many more.... avoid la canna at all costs, they will have you over given half a chance!!!!!! blimey i hope thats not too slanderous, im only saying what i experienced.......

Heh heh you were suckered mate- like everyone else who fell for the place. I never went in because it looked too much like a shitty bar full of English townies who don't know their arse from their elbow or their weed from their soap bar plastic laced resin.

Such a great location and a massive retail area so what do they do? Open up the most blatant tourist trap you ever did see, to fool first time tourists. Closure is what they deserved!

Went to La Canna once, five years ago after just arriving in DAM. We had our bags with us and wanted to smoke a pre-rolled each before heading to liedseplein and checking into hotel. Three of us bought a pre each. One of green/baccy, one of hash/baccy and one pure green. The baccy joints didn't get us high or even taste nice. They tasted more like Van Nelle than Marajuana and jacked our throats (after all the airport, train station throat drying Air-con malarky) The pure joint tasted OK, but they'd rolled it with a roach half the length of the joint, despite it costing more than the mixeds, which left an unpardonably ludicrous two and a half inch cardboard tube in the ashtray. Didn't fully notice how bad they sucked until we had a blunt of white dolphin at Dolphins and actually got high.
La Canna's smoke compared to genuine good skunk is like masturbation versus sex. Masterbations cool.... but only when there's no sex avaliable.

was in the DAM a week ago and didn't see La Canna so maybe its closed? (or maybe my subconcious hid it from me?)

Also, Easy Times is closed..... Nothing but builders and exposed wiring.... which may cheer some people up.

Also saw Smokey for the first time in four visits.... Looks super trash, but then again so is the Rembrant Plein so glad its there and not anywhere I might actually enjoy hanging out.

only been to the bulldog and funny people from that list, funny people get it.

ran by a fucking arsehole of a man. hes got some serious mental problems, avoid it.

but he does have a really nice smoking room and ok weed, if that baldy fuck wasn't around it'd be ok.

i didnt visit any of these coffee shops as i did my research before i went so i could'nt answer this question,lol

A quick update from our side:
The Noon is no bad shop, the dealer has always been very friendly and we visited almost every month, if YOU are friendly, then he is as well

about the border-shops:
- avoid Venlo, its worst city for weed I have seen so far, every shop there sucks!
- avoid the Skunk coffeeshop chain, they have a shop in Sittard, Roermond and Haarlem (at least those are the ones we visited so far) and all of them are of the worst! they sell normal quality for high prices, and have a bad behaviour against other shops...they are like a mafia, I dont want to write more about this as I dont know if they are reading, but the best you can do at the borders is to visit the coffeeshop Relax in Sittard, by far the best quality at the borders!

Grasshopper = Shit

Too up themselves and too pricy and not the best smoke to be honest.

Out of all the cafes i have been to, brought there gear or just brought a drink at, the bulldog palace is the worst. The grasstender was rude and when asked what he would recommend, he said he didnt know, cause he was part time (he was serving all the time i was there and when i came back three months later he was still there). The gear was expensive and to commercial, their cappacino was pretty bad (including dregs) and what is that womans problem i the toilet! I go in there and because i came from the cafe part, she said that i could go for free. when i came back out, she tried charging me 3 euro for using it. The pub upstairs is nice though. First time i went in, i went to the bar and brought a drink. i then asked where i could purchase some gear and they told me that they where no longer allowed to sell weed. so i walked to another cafe where they told me that it was downstairs (i was smokin anyway and quess i didnt see this blatant sign, sticking out the roof, stating that was the entrance. All in all i would give them 1/10 for helpfulness, 6/10 for deco and 3/10 for quality of the gear.

I would say rockland out of that bunch,Really what terrible service & there hasj was @ knocked up prices.

I got some "hawian" haze from there during november & it was rubbish like,10 euro`s per gram as well.

i'll second that kingdoc, rockland is a shocker. 3e for a can of coke? and that was my only purchase. one glance at the place from inside told me not to even bother with the menu. had to hang around though as we'd arranged to meet some new arrivals in there. just smoked what i'd picked up in abraxas instead. just another one crossed off i s'pose

I voted for Grasshopper 2, i mean i aint ever been in their but it just dont look like a good coffeeshop from the outside, and it looks far 2 big, aswell as being a bar and resturant, how can they focus on being a good coffeeshop when they have 2 other business 2 deal with???? Barney's have the right idea or not having the 3 in the same building.

Also Highway was poor, had a pool table that the guy wouldnt let us play even tho there was people playing it just b4 us, prices were high and the serve a minimum of 2g at a time, got some AK-47 and ive had better on the streets of the East end of London mate!!!!!

Yea its a dump! save your euros as they are tons of better places that are more worthy of your cash than there.
