So after I left oldchurch I walked past family first and to my surprise there was only 1 person in the que ..this is rare as the last few times I've been here I didn't bother waiting around because of the crowd..so I went in and talked to the friendly bud tender (not the ignorant 50 year old cunt of a woman that usually frequents the counter) but a nice chap and I asked to see the best full melt and best static sift hash and he showed me TROPICOZZ and ACID DOUGH both €22 and both absolutely ..I know u got some Cerial milk weed and some other strain and both were lovely but these 2 hashes really stood out to me as special ...full flavour full melt full buzz all going on....so if the que ain't bad I'd recommend calling for some

I tried the Acid Dough static hash (22€/g) a few weeks ago on Toms recommendation. I also looked for the Tropicozz full melt hash which was sadly not on the menu anymore. Like Tom wrote the Acid Dough static hash was indeed In the past I stopped trying hashes that cost over 20€/g because I got most times pretty dissapointed from that hashes especially in terms of effect. This one had like Tom wrote a nice flavor,full melt and effect.
In general, the prices for static and frozen have become cheaper and it is more worthwhile to look around in the higher price segment in my opinion than before.

Tropi Lemon Z - Very Lemon Tree leaning. Strong sour lemon terps. Not my favourite terps tbh but this is smoking very clean and gave me a very nice high. 6/10 for looks however, but the smoke is a solid 8. Whitest ash I’ve had so far.

Around 5:20 AM yesterday morning, someone threw an incendiary device at Family First Coffeeshop in Amsterdam. The facade is badly damaged, and from the looks of it, this won’t be a quick fix. Luckily, no one was hurt — not even the cats from upstairs , they all made it out safely. More information here

If past cases are any indication, chances are slim the shop will reopen. The city tends to shut down coffeeshops permanently in such cases – especially when there's a risk to the surrounding neighbourhood. It’s a sad end, but probably a predictable one, given how vulnerable these businesses are in the current grey-market setup.

Let’s be honest: As long as coffeeshops are forced to rely on unregulated supply chains, and operate somewhere between legal and not-so-legal, incidents like this will keep happening. Some call it “communication” between rivals, others just call it organized crime with a local twist. We've seen similar things in recent years – often involving young hotheads from Rotterdam or elsewhere trying to “make a name for themselves.”

Anyway… Family First wasn’t my go-to for Cali flower, but they had a good selection. Still, no one deserves to have their place burned down. Let’s hope that the city finally wakes up and realises that transparency and full legalization aren’t optional anymore.

Absolutely... Sadly, any progress that doesn't involve 100% governmental oversight seems ripe for exploitation... Even legit growers can be compromised.

Incidentally, it's also the reason most of the Dutch weed tastes the same.

I never really bought into the hype as much as say every other YouTuber but I'd had a couple nice bits and a duffer or two. It's never a good thing to lose a shop though.

Absolute madness. I see dlw post about Rick's Coffeeshop and Cafe being shut for 6 months due to explosions also.

It looks a lot to come back from but hopefully the Mayor or the City Council can give Family First another go.

Yeah it was. Smoke Palace had a nice big terrace out front too! Shame.

Heard on the grapevine they are planning on reopening on Friday

Not sure how true but would be good

If it's open on Friday I'll find out as I'm in the area, so to speak

Ngl it's not somewhere that's on my list, but as @Kimble and @Htn have already stated, the loss of any shop is never a good thing

Contrary to expectations, Family First has renovated in record time and reopened a few hours ago. It is to be hoped that the cause of the problem has been eliminated so that it does not happen again.

I was going to check it out, but I was too stoned.
