They're definitely going for the Cali dispensary look. Not sure what I think of it tbh. The smiles seem to cut through the sterility of it all.so that's a plus. Was aiming to get a visit in on my last trip but ran out of time...

can´t remember
Girl Scout Cookie Block hash, 9.5pg, I tried some and it had a typical sweetened polm flavor and wasn't very strong, certainly was weaker than what I'd expect for polm at that price.
thanks that was the hash... so like u said nothing special... it´s a pity. They had many crazy names for their hashes... do you think it´s made of the strains they say like Girl Scout Cookies, Lavender and so on. I´am not really sure

Took a trip up here on Saturday with a friend of mine who hadn't been before. I've only been once myself so it was nice to head out that way again. Got the No.17 tram out to Witte de Withstraat and walked over. It's hard to complain about the set up here, sure, it has that dispensary feel but they are efficient.

I bought the Lavender Kush, Bio Jungle Haze, King Kong Banana, Girl Scout Cookies and the White Choco Block. Lavender and the King Kong Banana were the strongest l'd say. Nice taste off the hash, almost squidgy in texture and sticky. GSC lacked in taste, same with the Jungle Haze but they were ok to smoke. My mate got the Super Silver Haze also, 8.5e/g and I have to say there wasn't much difference in that and what he once paid 14.50 a gram for in Hunters.

He can be a bit panicky when buying weed and will usually just take what he is given but I told him about the policy here and he loved the place. Budtenders were cool when I/we declined some of the weed on offer without getting the hump. They showed us everything we wanted to see even though there must have been a 10 strong crowd behind us.

It is a bit far out but on a day like Saturday the stroll back into Amsterdam was great.

I too would be surprised if they had cookies in Morocco, Also they usually don't use clones, infact i've never heard of them using clones. They usually just throw a few thousand seed's out.
However recently they seem to of learned about drip feeding and using fresh genetics = better hash so you never know?

Old coffeeshop Stix.

Often go there as it is the most convinient shop for me to go buy and fly. It is a very good one with very nice and friendly staff that always has time for you to smell and look. Always nice and big buds as well. Just go there :)

so I have a question for you please. I have read several posts about the moldy, wet quality of their grass... am I to understand that you have not experienced that at Boerejongens ? Thank you for a heads up as I will be visiting soon and had pretty much decided NOT to go based upon those negative reviews.

Oh I know about them taking over Stix, cheers but I wasn't impressed by the weed I got in the Dampkring 2 a few months ago so before going to the new shop I wanted to take my mate to the originals as I call them, Bij and Boerejongens. It's a nice part of the city so when time is on your side it's well worth the trip out.

No moldy or wet weed here. Those reviews were written in the middle of the summer when Amsterdam had a humidity of over 100% in the air. Nothing was dry this summer :P

But as said, no moldy or wet weed. dry, dense and crispy buds is all I´ve gotten from here.

This week:
First time at their new shop on Utrechtstraat(opened from 7AM!):

Indeed, kind of sterile atmosphere here and lady budtender(who seemed to had one of her first days at this job)had no really clue about hash but was happy to let me have a look at different wares :) .
I went for the ridiculous named Girl Scout Cookies Bloc Hash(9,5€/g)after I had a sniff at the White Choco Bloc Hash(8,5). Malika(14€/g)by the way looked very nice as well but was after a smoother smoke.
Good enough piece of hashish but Tweede Kamer's Pioneer Bloc(8,5) was better value for the money!

By the way since when is hashish cut off a 'bloc' of hashish? Happens rarely I assume  !
