Have visited Boerejongens at the Utrechtsestraat (near Rembrandtplein) on many occassions. Always found some of the best choices
around A'dam to be available here, offered at a somewhat more affordable pricing. Not only their weed is very tasty - the SSH offered at 9,5 euro certainly rivaling for the crown of "best value haze in town" a classic in the good sense of the word -, the hash offerings, e.g. White Choco block or any of the other "block" hashes (all made from quality dutch strains but grown in Morocco), all range around the top value for money in the city. Never had wet offerings here, always found their buds to be particullary well cured and in pristine condition. Highest praise!
I recently wrote a review on the Boerejongens shop over at the SmokersGuide site:
Boerejongers at the Utrechtsestraat certainly is one of the most classy "joints" in town. The white marble countertop and wallcovering with just an accent of added wooden shelves gives it an ultra fresh and clean appeal, almost feel as if you mistakenly did step into a high-end pharmacy..Though the shop is quite small every inch has been put to extremely good use. LOVE IT! It makes for quite a difference compared to the mostly grungy atmosphere so common in A'dam's shops! The staff is dressed to fit the code, very helpful and polite. The menu is one of the most extensive, offering a broad selection of quality strains and hashes to cater for anyone's taste, and all of this at a more reasonable price then most other shops I did visit over the past months (only "The Stud" was comparable price / quality wise). Their White choco block hash offered at 8,5 euro, Morroco grown from a dutch strain (White Choco), in my opinion (though they were out of stock last sunday) must be one of the top value for money deals in the whole of A'dam! The weeds I did try always were top notch. A true gem of a shop, highly recommended!

@Wilbur, completely agree:
After more than a year and a half living in (and smoking my way across) Amsterdam, I confidently agree that Boerejongens West/de Bij and The Stud are the best quality to price value shops, in all of NL.

Agree they are classy and fair prices! I rate their AM block 10/10.
Reason for my statement on amazing haze was; I made one joint of pure silver bubble from voyagers, and one pure of amnesia haze from boeren. The silver bubble kept its light i never had to lit it for the second time. The amazing haze kept going out had to light it maybe 7-8 times. So compared to silver bubble from voyagers on 25th feb 2016, it was wet and the ash a bit blackish. Rest my cents

Do both shops have the same menu?

This menu , change almost daily , and prices as well . I think on weekends prices go up , sometimes Im getting for example on Monday Amazing Haze its 11 Euro and then 12 on Sat . Kind of strange
Someone said before that West is cheaper ....not true . Once went all the way to West to get some ,,cheaper'' sativa they were off the stock , so went back to center and got it all there , and prices menu was the same.

Whiteanimal, it's very true.
Not all strains are cheaper at West but specifically the SSH, Amnesia and a few others are more expensive in Rembrandtplein (11 versus 9.50 per gram in West). I know this to be fact because I live Amsterdam, and guarantee I frequent these shops more than you, but if you wanna pay more be my guest...
Also you've defnitely got it all wrong, prices do not fluctuate on the weekend, if prices increased it was due to change/inconsistency of quality between different batches of the same strain, not because of something like day of the week...ha

Ok, I'll take your word for it, but just letting you know. Have you really had nothing good from the Stud, if not at least good customer-service?

Hoi RvanSteensel, hoe vind je het de Kosher Kush Bloc, is het zo lekker zacht en aromatische, bij voorbeeld, als de Amnesia bloc?
