Nowadays I make a big show of leaning over the counter to observe the scales as the weed is being weighed. Not hard to see the scales if you are 6 foot or so.

Was in here yesterday, had the Rolex OK and the silver bubble. Rolex was imo a little damp but apart from that a good smoke, reasonable taste and mellow stone. The silver b was a good bang for your buck at 10e , not as good as other batches I've had from here but still good for the price.

I'm sorry then. Better try De Graal's version then but it depends(as far as I remember I always had it from there but there are rave reviews about Green Place', too!). By the way all batches of Shoreline I had were about taste not strength(my personal priority #1, #2 is taste and above all clean gear).

Seems this shop is still going downhill. Haven't frequented the last years anyway and never was much into it.

I saw on their latest menu that they have "Red Libanon (10€/g)" hash on the menu... In the past I smoked a few cheap lebanese hashes (nice special taste but only a very very light effect)...
I never smoked high grade lebanese hash :? 10€/g seems to be pretty expensive for lebanese hash... so maybe that version is what I am looking for :D Anyone tried it yet?

hey bro..

I tried the Lebanese from Paradox few years ago and it was ok-ish. Not the tasties, but not totally tasteless either. Similar to traditional Morrocans, but a bit stonier effect, not too much but a bit. Potency was ok, in the same park with typical morrocan super polms. I'd say it was so called "Red Lebanese" hash (late harvest).
It had little cotton "hairs" on it, which speaks of it being real Leb (pressed/bagged in cotton).

In general, my experience is that Paradox has desent hash selection. Not the best in town, but not the worst either. I have tried their Afghan, Turkish, Super polm, MAnali and the Lebanese, and none really dissapointed, like some hash from fancier shops have done few times.

If they have the Leb in stock, try it. You can buy 5 euro pieces, so that's not a big investment even if it turns out to be shitty.

1e Hulp is selling Yellow Leb. Haven't tried it, but from the pics they had on their instragram; nice looking blond hash ..also wrapped in cotton cloth, so prolly the real deal also. ..i'd imagine it having more sativa-leaning effect becaiuse of the earlier harvest time (blond resin).

yeah I saw a lot more lebanon hash lately, too... somewhere I read that many so called "lebanon hashes" comes from
syria itself... I also heard from very good lebanon hash but never found it :? One of the last examples I tried was from
Coffeeshop Slow Motion in Maastricht years ago. It was for 5€/g  and really had a reddish color... pretty hard sandy hash with an intense special taste but no really strong effect. Anyway there was a pretty high demand for that... many times it was sold out pretty fast.

I also tried the example from Green Place this weekend :D
It's not red colored hash... looks more like the yellow lebanon from 1e Hulp lol
Very light yellow blonde hash. Maybe not the freshest batch but after only a few seconds in the hand it was pretty soft. When heating it with the flame it doesn't bubble :| also the oil content was not very high. The hash had without heating a nice special smell. I didn't smoked much of it yet but the effect is pretty strong compared to the last batches I had from lebanon hashes. Overall I would say it was not what I was looking for... no high grade :? but it is a more than average lebanon hash with a unique taste and a strong enough effect. So its nice to have more variety  10€/g is maybe a little bit too much for that but it's still pretty rare

bro..

Saw from the menus that De Graal was selling expensive Syrian hash in the past, have you /you guys tried that? or know how it compares to the Leb and the Turkish hashes in taste/aroma and effect?

I have smoked Turkish and Leb (red) only once in 2012, both from Paradox, and to me they were somewhat similar (taste/effect) and the genetics were clearly related to Morrocan plants = traditional, regional hash cultivars.

To me, the Turk and the Leb were abit more closer to each other than to traditional Morrocan strain(s). ..taste was abit more earthier and spicy and the effect abit more indica. The Turk was more potent, but can't call the Leb a weak. In a blindfold smell test thou, with my limited hash experiences, i would have guessed that those were ordinary Morrocan super polms, nothing top shelf. ..Top Lebanese might be a different story.

In short, to me the Turk and Leb i tried, had more like "old school" polm aroma, not as refined (sweet, flowery, minty) as with many Morrocan polms.

If people are looking for new mind blowing taste experiences from Lebs and turks after sampling Morrocans and iceolators, some might be dissapointed. Cause, imo, in modern day "tutti-frutti & Rifman" tasting hash and weed markets, these traditional hashes might seem abit too ordinary for some people.

Hash lovers are ofcourse a different matter. People who are into traditional old school polms, absolutely do try them, cause it's a taste of history and traditional hash cultivars. :D

My favourite coffeeshop. Always make a point of dropping in to sit and toke.

Haven't tried the Shoreline in here despite my best efforts. One time it was sold out in a quick fly and buy. Next time it was off the menu.

Always pick up a g of Silver Bubble which I highly rate - last time it was well cured, crumbled (didn't need to hardly grind it) and was a solid smoke.
The next time I picked up some Gin & Juice instead of the Shoreline from the budtender's recommendation - nice and fresh smoke. I'm not too sure on all this genetics stuff but I remember something about the budtender offering it me because it's a crossbreed of Shoreline and something else?

Have also tried one of their 'space brownies' which is actually a chocolate muffin. I only had half because I shared it with my girlfriend, couldn't tell if it had any effect on me, but she was pretty fucked as far as I could tell

Recommend! Looking forward to stopping by in February!
