breakfast recommendations

Post by cheese »

can anyone recommend any good breakfast spots?

my father is a big breakfast fan and i guess i am too when in amsterdam. either full english or irish or pancakes.. whatever.

i have checked out the pancake bakery on my past trips and it was ok and i also enjoy barneys breakfast on every trip!

so yeah and tips for where to go for breakfast.

cheers and thanks in advance

I am gonna get shot down for this one but the best breakfast i have had to date was at the Bulldog on the Leidseplein. Sat at the side on a nice sunny morning with a englishish breakfast, cup of tea and some weed from Mellow yellow. Very nice indeed.
Barneys breakfast is cock IMO and too expensive although a few other things on the menu are tasty its just to pricey.

I haven't been disapointed yet ( 4 breakies to date  ), good food, quick, friendly service, loads of space, outside tables if the weather is nice.

Its almost directly in the middle of the Flower Market.
Enjoy yer grub

Wait, how do you pronounce "poffertjes" (in English) anyway?
