Tried this place out on Boners recommendation this trip and was very impressed. They had loads of great vege options and the food was reasonably priced and the best curry I have had in Amsterdam! I really missed my nan bread though...

this restaurant is now the family favorite in amsterdam, it was also the venue for my birthday dinner last visit, i did not want the meal to end so i had both the ice cream and rice pudding desserts to stretch out the occasion
many thanks to boner for the tip and the two photos that got the family excited in anticipation before our last trip -

Man, looks mighty tas-t indeed! Place closes awful early tho...we wound up at the Indian restaurant down the Haarlemerstraat closer to Central station (on the right hand side). Tiny place with the fiercest vindaloo I have EVER had! We never tasted the heat, it just crept up until kaBOOM!
