I found my new favorite restaurant in the Motherland

I have a few I always have to visit when I am in town.

But on my last trip I fell in love with my new favorite.

Its called "Eat at Joe's" very near Leidesplein on the far side of the Melk Weg
Its run by a great couple (Eric and JoAnne) < Eat at Joe's
She is a GREAT cook trained in French food preparation.

This is not a French restaurant, the menu changes every day. She has a great relationship with a local butcher and he gets her the best cuts of meat. Every day she goes to the local markets to find the best produce and comes up with a menu depending on what looks to be the best freshest produce of the day. There is always a vegetarian dish on the menu but I LOVE the Lamb. (I am a meat eater). The prices are very fair (10-12 Euro main course).

SO do yourselves a favor and "Eat at Joe's"

i went on my last trip and can also say its a nice restaurant.

its attached to the melkweg and it was very busy on my last trip.

they had many vegetarian options as well for mrs cheese.
