Normal bars charge about 2,50 per beer. Non-tourist and non-extremely popular bars.

It can do. Although a pint of Heineken in Excalibur will set you back €4,50. Pretty cheap in comparison to where else I have bought beer in Amsterdam (even in Dublin when i lived there come to think).

Drinking in a bar isn't cheap in the netherlands. Even when I was living in wijk aan zee a pint would set you back average €3,50. I'm generally not a big drinker but I dont mind shelling a bit out in a smoker friendly bar so I can enjoy a spliff with my beer and would gladly pay an extra quid for a pint over here if it meant I was able to sit and blaze a fat one while I drank one..... if only!

Had many an afternoon sat outside Nes/Ricks relaxing with a pint & a smoke watching the world go by. Always somewhere I visit when in the Dam.
